THE CONTAINER TUBE WILL FALL APART IN YOUR HANDS spilling everywhere.
Update: Despite container issues, my truck TRULY has more responsive acceleration.I tried Schaeffer’s fuel additive with my 2021 Ram diesel and encountered serious issues with the container. The can arrived in a well preserved, dry, box with padding, but dented and seemed a bit over 3/4 full. The pull-tab ring HOLDER spun loosely, and the extender tube, while long enough, was flimsy and fell off when I tried to push open the stiff fuel door in the filler neck, spilling additive on my paint, paint protection, tire, and ground—costs $200 to fix the protection film and $5,000 to repaint the panel. You CANNOT just pour the additive on the door- it is quasi airtight, and additive spills that way, too.The premium-priced "convenient" size is a disaster:The weak extender can’t open the filler door.It’s straight, not curved, making it impossible to pour without inverting (emptying) the can or quickly removing the can and the extender then falls off.There’s no way to measure how much you’ve used—no peephole or visibility.The plastic threads are so cheap the extender doesn’t screw on properly and the pull tab HOLDER spins.The black tube melted and turned VERY sticky after one use, suggesting it could contaminate fuel on reuse.This design sabotages convenience, triples the hassle, and costs FAR more per ounce than the gallon size. I want only an acknowledgment of this note (I’ll amend this if received). With video evidence and a witness, I could easily claim $5,000 in small claims court. Fix this for everyone—I ask for NOTHING in return. Your move, Schaeffer.

Works well
I have a 2014 Cummins and at 290k it started getting sluggish with a slight misfire. A heavy diesel mechanic that works on all the equipment the company I work for has recommended the carbon treat and diesel treat 2000. Over about a month running from ft worth to Abilene twice a week it cleared it up and the truck felt very responsive. I’ve been running it for 10k miles with no issues. I ordered the winterized version for fall and winter. The product is worth the price.
