Silicone Egg Cooker Poaching-Cups – Sous-Vide, Dishwasher Safe, Bonus Brush - 8 pcs, 4 Heart-Shaped

I got these to make Starbucks egg bites, but larger serving sizes. The egg did not come out clean without cooking spray. I made one batch in the sous vide with the lids on but there is a tiny hole in the lids for pressure release that allows a small amount water to get into the container. You have to place them in the water just right so they float. I used the cups in the Instapot without the lids and they worked great.

Forgot to spray non-stick before using so the first batch was difficult to remove. The egg bites came out wonderful, but when re-heating, I did not break out the Sous Vide and just used the microwave so they were "grainy" in texture. Difficult to store the containers after washing by hand. Will keep trying to get it right, but in retrospect, the egg bites at Starbucks and Costco have more appeal now that I've tried DIY.

These are just OK. Even though I brushed them with oil before pouring in the eggs, cheese, and other ingredients, the mix sticks to the sides. I had planned to by my daughter a set for Christmas, but I would not buy this again.

I was excited to get this set because we eat boiled eggs 4 times a week. I followed directions off of U-tube (because there were no instructions on or in the box), and when it was tome to remove the hard boiled eggs, the yolk popped out but the white stuck to the silicon. This happened on all 8. I lost over half of each egg. When trying to clean the stuck egg white, I cleaned as directed: rinsing and scrubbing out the stuck egg white, then in the dishwasher the went with no heat cycle. The egg white that would not come off was still there suck to the silicon.This was a total waste of time and money. I do not recommend this product. It was a scam.

I wish this product had instructions.

Good product, but not really worth the trouble. They also don’t seal all that well.

OMG- I never write reviews but I am having so much fun playing with this! I fell in love with these at Starbucks but for 2- it is like $6! I just ordered another 8 because my sous vide cooker can handle more! I just dropped off 6 to my neighbor! They are pumped!

They could work, but not for me. Going to use small jars instead. Between the holes in the lids and the sous vide being too turbulent (7l Lexan container) it was hard to keep water from getting in.
