Using with my new LG G3 smartphone and a 1080P Sharp TV, this HDMI adapter does output 1080P,but the TV screen goes blank after about 30 seconds, so the adapter is not really useful.In addition, it does not display the whole LG G3 screen, but shows only the center 1080 high resolutionportion of the G3 screen, which makes the presentation of video, stills, or just the G3 screen...an unsatisfactory experience.Any suggestions?There are no instructions in the adapter box.I tried adding external 5v power, but the full LG G3 screen is still not displayed.The video runs longer, having fewer breaks, and generally resumes,but it seems to mute audio briefly every 5 to 10 seconds.I am using the two sample video clips in the Gallery.Perhaps this adapter is defective?More suggestions welcome, thanks.

Like the other review, i use this phone on an LG G3 and this adapter is unsatisfactory. I'm not sure if I got a defective or refurbished item but the micro USB cable is too small and wouldn't stay connected to the phone so the display keeps turning off. Also, according to the add this adapter works on LG G pad but it doesn't work on mine. I DO NOT recommend this item.

Only works on 2nd gen Nexus 7

Kinda disappointed, it works in my Nexus 5 phone, but won't on my Nexus 10 tablet, and its the reason why I got it to begin with.

Posted description does not meet my needs. Does not work on LG G PAD 7. Try to get a replacement from them but no reply. This company is a rip off.

Worked like a charm in conectivity.Still have some doubts about control and formats, but it is probably a matter of learning to use it.
