Great tea, helps a lot!

About 7 years ago I was diagnosed with Stage 3 kidney disease. I started making pitchers of tea with this and blood pressure tea bags since my BP was high as well. The past few years during my twice a year appointments with my kidney doctor she has said, "I don't know what you're doing, but keep doing it, because your numbers are looking good on your blood tests". It's not a "cure", but it has made my numbers go down so that I'm probably not at stage 3 any longer...more like 2 or even 1. To me that's a win.

I won't sugar coat it (actually, to make it taste better that's probably what you should do!) this isn't the tastiest tea. It has a earthy type taste which if I thought it really worked, I'd give it the 5th star. I had some blood test results that may have pointed to a potential kidney issue but the doctor said it might have been caused by mushroom complex capsules that I was taking instead. So I'm not really sure if this supplement worked or not so I can't really comment on that. I think it's still worth a shot but just understand that it doesn't taste like tea. I used another tea (green) bag with it to give it a true tea type taste and slightly mask the earth taste.

I was advised to see a specialist for possible kidney disease as my lab readings were off the chart. A friend recommended this tea and shared that it changed her levels drastically. I've been drinking this delicious natural herbal tea daily. It's hydrating, it improves digestion, and aids with proper bowel elimination. I'm hooked! I can hardly wait to see improved results. I feel better and more healthy already. It also seems to cut my appetite and I was thrilled to see I was a pound or so lighter after just a few days of drinking one cup in the morning and one at night. I even pour cold water over the used bags and drink. They are quite potent! I'll be ordering in bulk. Yes, I highly recommend this tea. Enjoy!

I started looking for ways to help support my kidneys due to uric acid and gout. I steep and took a cup and 2 days later I had a discomfort in my abdominal, it made me have the feeling of wanting to pee and so I did and I noticed there were a small protein in my urine plus what looks like a slight maroon color which makes me think of blood?. I don't know, it's making me think twice about drinking it again (most likely going to stop until I actually know there is a kidney problem with me and have a provider guidance) It's definitely doing something to the kidney alright.....
