I got this set to help with two different hobbies that I have. The first is working on older/classic cars and these sort of hose clamps are regularly used, so having a set which will allow for replacing old clamps when needed. The fact that they are stainless means that they should work well in a challenging environment. My second hobby (which is actually mostly helping with my wife's hobby) is gardening and we have increasingly started to use irrigation systems to make day to day watering easier. As most of the connections are low pressure, they are push fit, but for some of the connections - like feeding the water butts , it will be at mains pressures so additional clamping is a good idea - again because it is outdoors the stainless steel will be great. The crimps themselves are quite heavy duty but basic and simple enough to use. Overall I am pretty happy with this set. When I first opened it I did find that some of the bigger clamps had been put in with the smaller ones as there was no space in the sections when the dividers were evenly spaced. I took a bit of time and moved some of the dividers and found that they could all be organised properly.

The pliers are well made from chrome vanadium steel and are nicely finished with plastic coated grips, while the hose clamps are made from anti-rust, anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation 304 stainless steel. A handy set for the home mechanic.

I work in a garage as a mechanic , and the amount of times I have needed one of these clips , but ended up using a jubilee clip , which works but does not look as neat and is not original These are ideal as, most of the brand of cars I work on , uses these type of clips for fuel , air and oil pipes on their engines In the box you get 180 clips of different sizes , so there is a good selection , the clips ate stainless , so should not rust and they seem of good quality . The pliers they give you with the set for pinching the clips together also seem very good quality and have a nice weight to them and well made and string enough for the job Tried a couple of test ones and the whole set up worked fine . Wont be using these every day , but when I need a new clip these will be ideal , great to have in my toolkit I would recommend

Got this hose clamp kit because many cars use these single ear clamps as standard and they can be very annoying to deal with. Once you bend them to remove, they rarely go back to their original shape, so having spares is always handy. The kit covers a wide range of sizes from 5.3–33.1 mm and the included crimp pinch tool makes installation and removal much easier. The clamps themselves are decent quality stainless steel and feel reliable once crimped. I’d recommend this if you work on multiple cars or need replacements for these tricky clamps.

Great selection of hose clamps. I used these on things like CV boots or little water line returns on the car. Simple, easy to fit, lightweight and the selection offered is essential for a diyer or car garage. The snips are pretty much standard concreters nipper pliers/snips. They're sharp enough so be careful you don't damage the clamps. Some of the clamp sizes were all messy and unorganised when it arrived which was a tad disappointing.

This is a really good value set of hose clips. A nice quality huge selection of sizes is included in this set and all look very well made. The clamp pliers are large and powerful to crimp the clips firmly in place. Everything works as it should. Super set and recommended.
