I was recently diagnosed with ADHD, and since then, I’ve been searching for resources to help me make sense of my diagnosis and find strategies that actually work for me. I discovered your first two books on Audible and absolutely loved that they came with the PDF versions as well. I honestly wish I had discovered your work long before my diagnosis, because even in this short period of time, your books have had a massive positive impact on my life. I’ve already listened to the first book several times, and even by just implementing small changes and working on tasks in smaller chunks, I’ve seen such a difference. Things that used to feel daunting no longer seem impossible, and for the first time, I feel like I have tools that truly fit how my brain works. I’ve just started listening to 365 Executive Functioning Hacks for Adults with ADHD, and I’m finding it incredibly helpful. I was wondering if there’s a PDF version available for this book as well? Having the electronic version alongside the audiobook has been a game-changer for me. I like to highlight, make notes, and even print out certain sections to stick around my home or workspace as reminders. I’m also quite precious about my physical books and prefer not to mark them up, so the PDF format has been ideal for me. Once again, I want to express how grateful I am for your work. In such a short amount of time, your books have had a far greater impact on me than any other self-help resources I’ve tried, especially those not specifically geared toward ADHD. Your insights have made me feel understood and empowered, and I can’t thank you enough for sharing your knowledge and experience. Review: I believe that this amazing book reaches such a variety of people! Twenty years ago, I sustained a severe, diffuse axonal traumatic brain injury in a car accident. I damaged 3 out of the 4 lobes of my brain causing extensive damage in the areas of memory, my frontal lobe, and a variety of physical deficits. I relearned to walk, talk, etc all over again. I literally lost all of my executive functions and struggle, even now, to rebuild these skills. I knew that this book was for me when I saw the title! I love that each chapter took on a core executive function challenge from areas of beating procrastination, organizing, sticking to things, staying on time, and withstanding distractions! I know what you are thinking. Will I ever finish this book? Guess what? The author kept this in mind and wrote the book to just flip to a page to start! It is not meant to be a read through book. Simply look through the chapter titles and start where your greatest struggles are at! If you aren’t sure how to identify your biggest challenges, there is a fun quiz to solve that too! You will find that the hacks within this book are flexible, compassionate, and made to help you succeed in your real life, not some unrealistic ideal scenario. Let this book be your game changer!

First, let me say this was an informative read, providing many useful tips for those with ADHD or other neurodivergent brains. The main issue I have is the misleading title of it being for 365 hacks. Many of the hacks are just further explanations of the previous hack, or, in some cases, a specific application of the previous hack. Then there are the "hacks" that are just recommendations for different apps and websites providing tools and services that help people put some of the previously mentioned hacks into practice.

There are several noteworthy things about this book. 1) I love the simplified explanation of what the executive function is and how it functions (or rather not functions) with a neurodiverse (in this case ADHD) person 2) I love the suggestions/hacks that the author recommends to overcoming the challenges of completing even the simplest of tasks. The hacks included in this book are to help with some of the hardest areas of life to manage for a person who experiences the challenges of ADHD. Specific to me, which I find useful & will implement, these include areas of procrastination & task paralysis, building routines, time management, and how to store food so it actually gets eaten. I highly recommend this book to get easy to implement ideas for managing life and gaining life skills that can improve quality of life for a neurodiverse person. 3) list of resources (websites, books, etc) and apps to learn more about ADHD or to implement the suggestions listed.

This book is WONDERFUL!!!!! In my line of work, ADHD is both a curse and a blessing. The curse comes from being overwhelmed by how many things I need to do (causing me to procrastinate), and a blessing in that I have to be able to recognize something that needs doing almost instantaneously and start chasing it. THEN I have to make it all get where it needs to be by certain deadlines... I felt like a rat in a wheel, but this book has helped a lot! I've learned that this is all part of it, and each suggestion is written in a sweet, simple, encouraging way so as not to lose my interest or overwhelm me again with the fear of failure (and not being able to be perfect). LOVE the JOT (Just One Thing) method - makes so much sense. Yes, I AM teasing you a little, but you really need to look at this book, realize all that it can do for you, and add it to your life. You'll be AMAZED!!!!!!
