Build quality not what you have the right to expect from Cordoba
I have a Cordoba C5-CET Limited which is superb. I bought a 3/4 C1M in case my granddaughter wanted to learn. I was appalled by the poor quality of the build. Not only were the fret ends sharp and unfinished, but the bracing bar through which the trussrod is accessed had completely split. (See photo). I couldn't photograph the whole brace but if you look at the image - the split to the left extended about 2 inches whereas the split on the right extended to the end of the brace. The downward pressure of the trussrod forced it away so that at the end of the brace there was a considerable gap.Cordoba classical guitars are almost unique in having trussrods in even their lower-priced range, but that's only a good thing if the rods don't then cause major problems like the one you see in the photo. As you might guess, the neck profile was way out of line such that action at the 12th fret was 1/4".I can only assume that the guitar had suffered in transit from their factory, storage at the dealership and then onward transport to me. But that should not have happened. I've never seen nor experienced that sort of problem before with any guitar, whether expensive or budget. The seriously inferior fretwork also suggests that whereas Cordoba take extreme care with their middle and upper ranges of instruments, the entry-level range are churned out and sent off without any effective form of quality control. So - beware if buying Cordoba entry-level guitars. Even if everything looks OK, I suggest you get a torch and a small hand mirror to have a good look inside at the braces on both soundboard and back. If my photo doesn't give you cause to pause . . . then good luck!

Adequate
I bought this guitar for my 4 year old son. The C1M 1/4 fits him perfectly. The construction is really good, and the matte finish is also perfect for the expected handling by a child. The tuning holds pretty well. The first day or two, expect to have to re-tune often as whenever changing out strings until they stretch and settle in, (this is absolutely normal for any guitar any price). The guitar plays well, the action out-of-the box was good too, comfortably low but no buzz anywhere down the neck either, it is really nice to have the truss adjust bar in case the action ever needs adjusting.Sound:Don't expect to be blown away by the sound of the guitar. The sound is exactly what you would expect for a guitar of this size and robust construction of the sound box. Meaning, expect it to sound a little "muffled". To get a livelier sound, you would need a lighter sound box which would make the instrument too delicate for the handling of a child. Though a little "muffled", the sound is still pleasant and balanced. I'm certain a different set of strings could liven the instrument some, but I haven't done that yet. It is still most adequate for what I needed, a pleasant sounding, small well built entry-level instrument for my young child.

Product of excellence.
Excellent product & of good quality. One can go for it. Make sure this size is 3/4. Understand the difference between all sizes Córdoba guitars & their bags sizes too. Bag is not provided. Their bags are costly.
