It's One heck of a nice performing chargeable Toothbrush
Could not be more happy with this toothbrush. I have used both competitors toothbrushes over the years . The first competitive toothbrush wore out after two years... The battery did not die out... It just noticeably slowed up.... The other competitive toothbrush needed to be charged like every three days or so... And charging took about 24 hours with a flashing light that lit up the entire bathroom... And then there was the red light that said I was brushing too hard.... Really??? Give me a break....After owning the Waterpik SR3000 for about 10 days I can say that I am quite satisfied with its performance. The brush head vibrates faster than the competition and the SR3000 still had one bar left after seven days of using the brush 2 times per day. I just put the SR3000 on the charger today with one bar left and it took about 7 hours to charge. And you know the charging light of the SR3000 is not obnoxious.... If anything its classy...I enjoy the simplicity of the SR3000. There is just 1 button (push 1 time for low speed / 2xs for high speed) which means that I don't accidentally push the wrong button while brushing and then have to cycle thru 5 different non-needed speeds.... The high speed on the SR3000 seems to be doing a much better job in brushing my teeth. The quality of the entire toothbrush is top notch. For example the metal shaft for the brush head is robustly made. The charging base is unique in that the base is open and thus charges from the sides of the brush handle. The plus here is that your base is not sitting in water as it charges like on competitive brands... My other charging bases always needed cleaning because they would build up with residue from the water that accumulated on the charging base... In turn the base of the brush handle would then show debris as well. The brush heads are softer than the competitive brush heads which I also find as a benefit... Easier on my gums.... As I said my teeth really feel like they have been cleaned after the 2 minute session...I don't think you can go wrong with the SR3000. And the bonus for me was that the SR3000 costs less than the competition... Especially the SR3000 costs substantially less than the quote unquote higher priced "premium" units....It's a toothbrush... Save your money for your next car where the bells and whistles really do something for you....

I like my Waterpik
This is actually my third set of Waterpik toothbrushes in about 10 years; the first two were the 1000 model. This model (3000) is smaller in diameter and easier to handle than the previous model 1000. After a month or so, I can say I am quite happy with the model 3000 toothbrush. My surplus of brush heads remaining from the model 1000 work just fine (same brush head apparently) so that makes me happy too. The charger base changed on the newer model 3000 rendering those old chargers useless but I do like the new chargers, they look like donuts and you simply set your model 3000 in the hole. However, these new chargers have a smaller profile with no surplus wire storage thus leaving a lot of wire to deal with during charging but since that only happens one day a week, that's not a real negative. Obviously, I like Waterpik's Sensonic toothbrushes. Before Waterpik, I used another brand that cost (at the time) 3 times the cost of the Waterpik. The quality of the Waterpik has improved over the generations I've had and will continue to use this brand, and now this model until I no longer need to use a toothbrush ( ;-) )

Re-Charge
This is the second brush we purchased. It works with the combo waterpic product. I overcharged the first one, thus it was deader than a doornail in about a year. Customer service explained that the system should be plugged in when using the waterpik ONLY. If the toothbrush overcharges, it runs out of power. So, when the pik is used, the toothbrush is removed from the dock. Once the toothbrush runs out of power, the toothbrush goes onto the dock to be charged. Once charged, the system is unplugged. Thus goes the cycle. This second unit is going strong into its third year.

Brushes won’t stay on and is very loud! You are better off buying a sonicare. It’s cheaper & quieter
Originally I had purchased a WaterPik basin/brush combo but it was huge and super loud..... but I liked the brush. After attempting to buy a charger only, The customer service told me “too bad and it will never be available and I needed to pay full price for an additional brush and charger “So, essentially I bought this item for the charger.I was surprised at how unwilling they were to address a problem with their products.Anyways, after purchasing this item that includes a smaller charger, the brush won’t stay on the electric toothbrush!!And It’s much louder than my first one, and the damn thing keeps falling off! Basically there is something wrong with the shape and it doesn’t fit correctly so it vibrates so much that the brush attachment falls off. I can barely even use it. I wouldnt recommend this product or company to anyone. For the price go with just about anyone else. The customer service is awful and these are poorly designed products. Super noisy, and the brush doesn’t stay on at all. Waaayyyyy overpriced. You could find a better product for half the price.

... toothbrush and so far it appears to do a good job of cleaning my teeth
This is my first sonic toothbrush and so far it appears to do a good job of cleaning my teeth. I'm still experimenting with the 3 brush heads that come with it. I think the smaller one is better overall as you maneuver it better in certain spots. Both brush heads are shaped to get in between teeth as you can feel that while you're brushing. The inter-dental brush head I'm experimenting with as well as my teeth stain easily. It appears to help, but it's shape limits it a bit. The one oral b offers is a bit better to get in between teeth. Ordering brush heads will be a hassle as I can't get them locally and only through Amazon or Waterpik. That's a minus as I would prefer to buy from a local Walmart for something like that, but I knew this before I ordered this. Overall, a good sonic toothbrush that appears to do a very nice job. Teeth feel very clean after using it.
