Will these work for sealer bags (sealer machine bags with no ridges)

Of cause, they will work fine, If you are still afraid, you can consider rolling the edge of the sealer bags as ridges.

How do you attach the suction?

Mine do not suction to the counter. It is more like non-slip. I really like this "extra hand" when filling plastic bags
