I am using this in a Hobie Mirage Compass kayak because it sits up higher than the original stock seat.

I bought this for my SUP. It works great on deck (definitely tie it down). It's awesome on the beach too. It's kind of heavy and it's easy to pinch your fingers when you're setting it up, so be careful. But the build quality seems good. Even the plastic is pretty heavy duty. It's comfortable and doesn't require anything to keep it from sinking into the sand on the beach. Pleasantly surprised with the Larry Chair.

We bought these to use on our paddle boards. We cut a pool noodle and put around the chair base - to protect the deck pad and to help the chair float if needed. We used a strap to tie the chair between two d-rings. The chair is comfortable and has good back support.We did have to return one chair because the back was a bit warped but the other two were fine.The zippered carrying case helps keep things organized and has enough space for our pool noodles pieces too.

I couldn’t be happier with this chair. 6 pounds, aluminum frame. Easy fold. Most kayak/sup chairs in the market are either very expensive or bad quality offering very little support for your back, not the case with this chair. Great price, quality, delivered two days after I place the order. Fits perfectly on top of my sup. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Great chair, just what I was looking for in a low chair for lawn seating at outdoor concerts. Before choosing the Larry Chair, my boyfriend and I triedout many other chairs looking for comfort, weight and portability, as well as ease of getting in and out, and ease of set-up. The Larry Chair was one of the best overall, with the most supportive seat and backrest compared to others we tried. And even with its low seat height of 10 inches from the ground, the Larry Chair is fairly easy to get in and out of, even for my boyfriend, who is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 lbs. Also, the rounded bottoms make it possible to rock back and forth without losing stability. Be aware that there are two models to choose from, aluminum and steel, and there is a difference in weight - the aluminum model is lighter, and does not rust the way steel does. The Larry Chair comes in a zippered carrying case with a double hand grip, and is overall about the size of a medium briefcase. The only thing I wish it had is a shoulder strap for hands-free carrying. I may attach one myself. I definitely recommend the Larry Chair to anyone looking for a low, supportive, comfortable and portable outdoor chair.

I could not be happier with this purchase... The chair folds up conveniently for storage and is very strong and comfortable; appears to be constructed with high grade material. I am using as a second seat on my Hobie PA 14, now my gf is much happier when we go out together as in a seating position she does not get sore...

This chair is perfect for my needs. It opens and folds easily and is very sturdy. I strap it onto my paddle board so I can sit occasionally.
