Donckels Cocoa Dusted Belgian Chocolate Truffles, 3 Count, 48 Oz

I use the truffles for peanut butter cups. Melt them with a tad of butter and add nuts and peanutbutter to the little mini-cupcake wrappers.Sometimes these truffles arrive all melted together and not edible as individual candies, but this batch was perfect.I understand they are seasonal, and so ordering them during the upcoming holiday season my contribute to their freshness, but paying the higher price of those offered my also have to do with their freshness and staying as individual candies.

I took a calculated risk after reading the reviews and decided to risk total meltage on the off chance I got beautiful truffles. To my immense surprise all 3 boxes came as truffles! Totally scrumptious, but there's one caveat that doesn't truly matter: the truffles aren't the perfectly cocoa dusted and beautiful ones I would find in the store. They seem to have gone a bit melty at some point and reformed while maintaining the truffle shape, losing the cocoa dusting and making for a kind of ugly truffle. Oh well! Well worth the purchase, I hope anyone else who gets these has the non melted luck I did.

Not very appealing to guests or worthy of gifting when they arrive melted into one solid block of chocolate. Be sure to use expedited delivery unless cutting chunks of chocolate off of the block and licking the scrumptious chocolate off of your fingers is something you look forward too!We've been buying Donckels truffles since first receiving them as a gift five years ago. They are truly divine, rich and creamy truffles that simply melt in your mouth. Couldn't ask for better texture, taste or quality - I'm transported back to Europe for a few delightful minutes while savoring these delights. Recommend splurging and treating yourself or someone you love (and who will share with you!).

My husband LOVES these truffles. They’re made lightly dusted with cocoa. Nice, smooth chocolate flavor with the awesome traditional texture and flavor of a real truffle, not like some other cheaper, more commercially produced ‘truffles’. I buy him a box every Christmas and he looks forward to getting them. He would be disappointed if I didn’t.

I fell in love with the cocoa dusted truffles I got at Aldi at Christmas time. They are seasonal and I was going through withdrawal so I thought I would give these a try. They are wonderful and a great value. I have to keep them in the refrigerator in Florida though or they get too melty. They are fantastic cold too!

You can never have too much of a great chocolate. Just one piece can make my day better, so indulge yourself. You'll thank me for it!

I am so frustrated. I read all of the reviews about it melting in transit and becoming an unusable lump. But I thought, it's in the 40's in these parts, and I'll be able pick it up off the porch immediately, so I'll be fine.No. They melted somewhere upstream of me. Each of the three packages is a hard-packed, unusable lump.I have no idea what I will do with this. It certainly won't be a gift, as intended. I may need to spend more money on an ice pick and hammer, just to make a dent. A knife would be quite dangerous, and ineffective. AND YOU CAN'T RETURN IT.I'm SO disappointed. If I'd wanted a hard brick of baker's chocolate, there are much less expensive ways of obtaining it...If they are going to sell this and have so many people be this disappointed, then they need to charge more and send it in a package that enables it to get to you in the shape they promised when you bought it.For this to happen to so many people over time means that they are charging a premium for a product that they can't guarantee will get to you as promised, and that they don't plan to do anything about it.My recommendation: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

I am so excited to get the best truffles in the world delivery style! Zero issues with the quality of the product for having it shipped, they are perfect! I ordered 2 for gifts, chocolate lovers need to know chocolate can be this Devine!!
