SpeckProducts Presidio Show iPhone Xs/iPhone X Case, Clear/Black

I had my BRAND NEW iPhone XS less than 2 weeks with this Speck case, dropped it once from less than 3 ft up and the back glass shattered to pieces. EXACTLY what I feared happeneing and the exact reason I bought this case. Don’t t waste your investment with this case!

Edit: So anyway, I've been using this case somce 2019 and now it's 2021. It's held my iPhone X all these years. The plastic is the sturdiest part, and remains clipped to my phone well. The rubber shows wear, but I'm glad it's lasted this long. Would recommend!Edit: It's been three months now, and the case still looks brand new. The rubber part has gotten a little dirty but that's expected. Even with daily use, the plastic and the rubber still work great and there are no cracks.I am reviewing this a month after my initial purchase, and it’s a nice case that I believe will last me for years. The color is true to the photo, and a tiny bit of sparkle to the pink is cute. The case increases my phone about less than 1/2 a centimeter on each side; the added width makes it sturdier than my previous thin case. The silicone interior is nice and wraps the phone well, and adds a little bit of grip on the surface edge of the phone. Would recommend.

I’ve had this case since I got my iPhone X on release day. I’m pretty careful with my phones so don’t need something super durable and I like the simplicity of the case. After 2-1/2 years of use the case was starting to crack and pieces of the outer shell pop off. I consider this normal wear and tear since I occasionally take the case off to clean any dust out from between the phone and case.I found my same case available from seller Sunshine Deals 123. The listing offers the case for around $10 with no mention of it being previously owned or returned or anything like that. It also mentions that it’s available “renewed” for about $3.50 less. I paid the full price for a new case and waited patiently for the free but not Prime shipping. The case arrived day and inside the shipping packaging the box had clearly been previously opened. The top was torn, and the tape at the bottom was sliced and torn away. It doesn’t affect the use of the case which I expect to last years again but if the listing offers renewed at a discount, then the full price item should be clearly in new in box condition. Ultimately it’s a $10 phone case and not worth bringing to the powers that be at Amazon but if felt people should be aware they might get a less than new product even when not buying the “renewed” option.

This case is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a case with a clear back. I just like the look of them. I didn’t want one so heavy duty it would make the phone bulky or too thin that it wouldn’t have any protection.The photos I am sharing are showing the true color. It’s a nude-pink with rose gold glitter. The clear parts are not glittery.UPDATEThe Rose Gold case got dirty fast and wouldn’t come clean so I decided to get the black one so that wouldn’t be a problem.I have dropped my phone many times with this case and it held up. No damage to it or my phone. 10/10 recommend!

I usually buy 2 cases per year from Speck, this one only lasted less than 3 weeks of use. There was no dropping of the phone or any abuse, just normal holding phone or having it in a purse. About one week in the light pink turned dark - I don't really sweat and work in an office so normal discoloration from just general use but happened very quickly.It is durable - definitely feel like my case is strong and protective but will need to replace since its already coming apart on the left side. Big disappointment.

This case is great, I had one I had bought from another retailer and when it broke I replaced with this one. My only complaint is that the black part has no rubberized parts other than the buttons so if you are trying to stand it up on a screen or table to watch it will slip down since it is all plastic.

My first review was that this product is too small for IPhone XS. I was mistaken, I own an IPhone XS Max and wasn't aware of the difference. I ordered the same product for the XS Max and am completely satisfied with this purchase.

I am actually really loving the case! It almost feels like you don’t have a case on it at all and shows off the pretty back of my phone! I’m a fan of speck cases to begin with but I was skeptical because I wasn’t sure how protective it would be. But my son and I have both managed to drop my phone and no damage from the falls. I think the only complaint would be the silicone/rubber part on the edge of the face will discolor like the other speck cases do eventually, I think it kind of started already :/
