I saw someone recommended these wash sponges on a YouTube video so I thought I'd give it a go. Absolutely love it!! Exfoliating but not rough on the skin, dries super quickly when hung up and the little strings at each side make it easy to hold to properly clean your back. I also think they are more hygienic than the puffy sponges that take ages to get all the soap/shower cream spuds out of. Would definitely recommend. Had mine for months now. I just pop it in a laundry bag and wash it in the washing machine every week to 2 weeks and still going strong.

I recently bought this African sponge net and I’m really impressed, especially for such a cheap and affordable price. I’ve used it numerous times since it was delivered and I can already tell the difference.. my skin feels much smoother. After the very first use, I could actually feel that the top layer of dead skin had been removed. It works better than any exfoliating scrub I’ve used before. I’ve bought a different type of African sponge in the past that didn’t have the little knots in it, and you can definitely tell the difference with this one. The texture is much better and gives a more effective exfoliation. I would definitely recommend it!

I dont often rave about such things as bath sponges, but this lil beauty is absolutely amazing. Being a lady thats almost the big 60, my skin has become crepey, so a friend recommended that I try this. WOWZER! My skin feels and looks amazing. I use less shower gel now too as this lathers up soooo well. A must buy foe all I reckon

I have been using the African Net Sponge for my daily shower routine, and overall, it is an effective exfoliating tool, but it is not without its drawbacks. The strongest point of this sponge is how well it cleans the skin. It lathers soap really easily and spreads it across the body efficiently, which makes showering feel faster and more thorough. After using it consistently, my skin feels noticeably smoother and cleaner, and it gives that “deep clean” feeling that regular washcloths simply do not achieve. It also dries relatively quickly, which is useful for hygiene. That said, it is quite harsh, especially in the beginning. The texture is rougher than expected, and if you apply too much pressure, it can feel uncomfortable on sensitive areas of the skin. Even after a few uses, it does not become completely soft, so you have to adjust your technique rather than expecting it to become gentle. Because of this, it is not something I would recommend for sensitive skin or for people who prefer a mild, soothing shower experience. In daily life, it has improved my hygiene routine by making it more efficient and giving longer-lasting cleanliness, but it also requires some caution. I have to be more mindful while using it so I do not irritate my skin, which adds a small extra step of awareness compared to a normal sponge. Overall, it is a very effective exfoliating product and I strongly recommend this item compared to others because it delivers strong results, but the trade-off is comfort. It works well if you want a deep clean and do not mind a slightly harsh feel, but it is definitely not a gentle or “luxury spa” type of experience.

Has a lovely stretch & quality. Unlike other African nets I've purchased from Amazon, this in particular does not fold in when stretched whilst used for back washing, allowing for efficiency using all of the product. The material isn't rough nor painful to clean yourself with. It has the comfort similar to cleaning with a loofa. Note: I ordered pink & I must say I didn't expect the colour variant that came in when comparing it the photos. It is a vibrant, hot pink.

This is an african net sponge with knots, for use in exfoliating the body & using as a back scrubber. There are some instructions for use on the back of the box, and you need to soak it in warm water for 15 minutes before using. It does stretch up to around 1m, and there are strings on each end to hang it when drying. It has a plastic type feel, with small knots, and in use does feel ok, however I found when pulling it across my back, it does stretch a lot as intended, though it starts to feel more like a narrow 'rope size' (see picture) rather than a wider area of coverage a sponge or brush would give. Did work ok, and did hold lather ok as well, though a bit disappointing for use on the back. The string is handy for hanging the net to dry, though doesn't feel strong, not sure how long the string will last after repeatedly getting wet. Exfoliation is good generally though not so good for use on the back.

I love this it makes me feel really clean and has helped a lot with exfoliation.
