I got a "used" one for a few bucks cheaper. Got it and it looks literally untouched. Only thing was like a metal cap loose. Honestly not the biggest deal, I gre up with my grandma who used to grow and sell plants so this is literally too nice. None of her chovels, hos, takes looked new even new they last like maybe 2 days like that and those were more expensive for one than these are for all. I deff love these. Very sturdy. My grandad is a keen gardener, so I bought this set for him for Christmas and had a little look to check it out – the tools look very stylish with the matt black finish and wooden handles, and the tote bag is very neat with a lot of room for storage. Obviously I haven’t tried out the tools, since I don’t want them to get dirty, but they look and feel very sturdy and secure and the handles aren’t rough or loose where the wood joins the metal, so no criticism there. I have tried to cut a few small branches with the shears and they seem sharp enough to deal with most twigs, stems etc. The claw gloves are medium sized but stretchy so should fit most hands and seem strong enough to last a season or two.

I got this for my 6th grade gardener. He is pleased with the quality and heft of most of the tools. The carrying bag is a nice sturdy canvas with outer pockets that are deep enough to hold the tools without risk of them falling out. There is ample room in the interior of the bag to hold additional tools or seeds, sprouts. The spray bottle only holds a few ounces of water and the kids' tools are of a size for a dollhouse garden. They are basically useless, filler items good only for upping the count of items in the set. Based on the quality of the standard sized hand tools, I would recommend this set, but don't expect to get any value from the spray bottle or little tools.

Good variety! Comes with everything you need and more! I really only use the shovels, rake, scissors, and spray can but it’s nice to have the other tools around just in case. Comes with a handy bag to store all the tools to bring to the garden. I’ve been gardening a lot due to staying home from covid so this is a useful set and a good investment. Hopefully they’ll last. They seem sturdy so far.

Aug 2020 update. I have had a couple of these tools break while using them. It is at the typical weak spot where the tool and the handle are connected. I'm bummed this isn't as sturdy of a set as I thought it was. I help an elderly lady in my town with her garden and I usually use her supplies, but I decided I'd get my own. I used these this week and they are sturdy, coming from me that says a lot because I'm really hard on things. The one thing downside I see is that the clippers don't seem to be super sharp, they still do the job, but they aren't the sharpest.

After reading the reviews of other customers I was not sure what to expect, but I took a chance and ordered the set of tools anyway. This set contains many of the tools I was looking for to help me keep my garden free of weeds and looking beautiful. The handle of the tools are comfortable, and the set is of good enough quality considering the price. The tools work great and no rust.

Finally got a nice canvas bag to store all my garden stuff and remove the clutter. More space in my prep table to potting or re-potting. Pretty decent set for the price. I think the smaller set of tools is for kids perhaps or bonsai plants. I use them anyway when sprouting seeds :) Sept 25 - Took one star off. I was moving some plants from my back garden to move them into pots for my greenhouse to extend the growing season. As i was digging using the mid sized metal shovel… it broke. Handle broke from the spade (pic attached). I only took off 1 star, as the rest of the kit is still pretty good. Maybe this one shovel was a “dud”. I finished my project using the bigger shovel and it seems it’s stronger than the one that broke.

I was surprised at the quality for the price! A nice gift for someone or for yourself. Not sure if it would stand up to heavy abuse but still quite sturdy!

Very handy, looks durable, come with a bag, very easy to carry the tools around. I got it when it had promotion, was great value.

Quality seems very good, heavy duty handles and the carry bag is strong as well. A lovely gift for a new gardener.
