Works well... quiet...
I've had this installed and running for about a week... It works very well. Much more efficient and quieter than than the older unit it replaced. I have it in a 1000 sq ft area and it lowered the humidity from 65% to 50% in less than a couple hours (as measured with a remote humidistat)... and it's maintained it there ever since. I'm utilizing its internal pump feature (why I bought this particular model) and it has no problem pumping the water up 8 feet to exit my basement shop. No more having to manually empty the tank. I can't yet speak for the units long term reliability, but so far it's been performing very well.

Good product, great support
Great dehumidifier! Love the pump feature; set it up next to the sink in my basement, and I never have to worry about emptying it. Works well and keeps the basement at the set humidity level. I had an issue when I first set it up, with some water leaking from the bottom of the dehumidifier. I really liked it and didn't want to have to return it, so I contacted support. They sent a video showing how to open up the dehumidifier and tighten a piece that likely was the cause of the leak. While the task took a bit longer than anticipated, I was really happy not to have to deal with returns or getting a replacement, and the fix worked great! No more leaking. The company even gave me a small credit for the trouble, which was a nice gesture. They didn't ask me to leave a review, but I was so happy with the experience that I wanted to. Also, honestly, just knowing that the machine is repairable gives me peace of mind for its longevity. Would definitely recommend this dehumidifier.

Efficient, Quiet, and Effective
I have run this dehumidifier 1 week. I am extremely impressed by how quiet and efficient it has performed. It replaces a dehumidifier that I have used in my walk out basement for over 20 years. It is comparable in removing humidity but much more quiet in performing its job. It is easy to set up and to use. The manuel is clear and concise, and operating is intuitive. The pump function of the AEOCKY dehumidifier is a huge advantage. I can run the drain line into my shower drain obviating the need to empty the water tank reservoir. The dehumidifier has 3 fan speeds. All 3 performance more quietly than my previous dehumidifier. If it lasts as long (over 20 years) as my previous dehumidifier I will be extremely satisfied and impressed. So far, I believe this product provides great value for the money.

Pump feature not working
Received this yesterday. Ordered because I needed unit with pump since I did not have ground drain. Of course, the pump feature is not working. I select the pump button, it lights up. 2-3 minutes later it has turned itself off. Unplugged machine, looked at all connections and followed owner's manual checking everything. Same issue. It turns the pump switch off every 2-3 minutes. Came close to overflowing also --- I don't think it is sensing when bucket is full either. Waiting on Aeocky customer service to reply to issue. As of now, I am completely disheartened and would not suggest purchasing. Hopefully customer service makes me feel differently, and I will update this review if they do make it right. Otherwise, I see a return/refund in the near future.

Great Dehumidifier In Spite of Confusing Directions
Itโs a great dehumidifier. We purchased this unit for our basement after our last one stopped working. It decreased the humidity level from 76% to 53% in three days in our extremely damp basement during several days of heavy rain. The unit is versatile, offering three methods of draining: manual tank emptying, gravity drainage, and pump. My only complaint is that the directions were a shotgun blast that was confusing, but I located a YouTube video that clarified it simply. It is quiet and not only improved the humidity, but the air quality and removed the damp mildew smell that even the older larger unit never did.

Really quiet
Works good so far. It's very quiet and the pump feature is great if you don't have a drain nearby. I am taking of 1 star because I believe it's capacity is overrated. It says 4500 square foot, but it performs below that imo based on previous dehumidifiers I've had with the same rated capacity.

Great features and design - couldn't be happier
This is an amazing dehumidifier at an affordable price. I bought a Honeywell 50-pint dehumidifier that stopped removing moisture from the air within 6 months. It was under warranty, so I contacted Honeywell and sent them the required pictures and videos. They told me they didnโt have the model in stock to replace the unit, which was not true. I looked online and saw that the same model was available through them, but at an increased price of nearly $200 from what I had paid. They gave me my money back, which I assume was best for their pocketbook. They would not replace the unit which they were now selling for a much higher price, and they didnโt have to pay the shipping. If they were reputable, they wouldโve replaced the unit as the warranty promised. With extremely high humidity and health issues in our home, I needed a working dehumidifier. Frustrated that they would not send me another unit, I began researching other products. I chose this Aeocky 4500 sq ft dehumidifier and love it. Its sleek design is appreciated. It has all the features that the Honeywell had. It is extremely quiet running the fan, on low speed, and it seems to take more water out of the air. It has a reservoir or you can use the pump or the continuous drain feature. It is a variable speed and gives you the ability to set the humidity you want for your home. I could not be happier.

Check out extended warrantyโs
Purchased the dehumidifier and it is a great product. I decided to purchase the additional 3 year extended warranty for $50.87 for 3 more years. I asked Alexa if this warranty is for 3 years after the factory warranty and was informed it would be 3 years after the factory warranty ended. When I received in the mail the policy it stated that it โ started at the time of purchase โ. Then I was charged twice $50.87. Amazon made good for the $50.87 after a phone call. Be careful getting extended warranties. Dehumidifier is working fine and Iโll utilize the 3 year factory if needed.

Easy to program, good performance
The dehumidifier is made with good-quality materials, looks great, and can easily blend in, even in the living room, since the noise it makes isnโt overly loud and is even lower when using the lower settings. It can be programmed in different ways so it can work unattended, although this will depend on how you set up the drainage. This option is especially useful if, for example, you have it running in a basement. If connecting it directly to a drain isnโt an option for you, you can empty it manually by removing the internal container, which is easy to take out. You also donโt need to worry about spills because it stops working when it detects the tank is full. In a bathroom, it might seem a bit noisy, but in a more open space, the sound feels light. Itโs easy to set up using either the built-in buttons on the dehumidifier or the remote control. It comes with an instruction manual, though itโs so simple to figure out that in about 5 minutes, youโll know exactly what to press to get the settings you want. So far, itโs worked well for me. I like that I can set it to the humidity level I want and just leave it running for days until I need to empty the tank.

High Quality, Excellent Operation & Extended Warranties! Quite a Unit!
You know how, sometimes, you bring a product home, and slowly start to realize just how good it really is? Well, this is that machine! To start, I could not believe just how well it was packaged from the factory. A really excellent job. It means that the physical shipping could be a bit rough, but any potential damage is mitigated by simply the packaging design. One opened and set on the floor, I was struck at just how good it looks. I have long tired of "white blocks" called dehumidifiers. Man, those things are ugly! This unit? Beautiful! But looks aren't anything without performance. And here is where this beauty shines! It works better than any other dehumidifier I have ever owned. And I have owned a lot over the years - because they never seem to last. Short warranties, poor manufacturing and cheap control components. No wonder... When first switched on, I was impressed at the absence of the huge "kick" of a compressor starting up. There was no "rock and roll" of the unit, no dimming of the lights on the street (ok, that never happened!) - just a quiet hum of a controlled start. At speed, the unit is very quiet. The two-speed fan is extremely efficient, pushing air up into the ceiling of our basement, without any strain. My only minor issue is the squirrel cage of the fan. It is mounted at a slight angle, causing the fan to wobble a bit. It certainly does not effect volume, but I do believe the fan would be just a tiny bit quieter without the vibration from this wobble. The tank inserts and extracts easily, and what I love, is a simple, clear strip of plastic, that allows you to view the water level. A great, simple, idea! Why hasn't this been done before? Again, I believe it is superior engineering and people dedicated to producing a better product. On the outside of the unit, just above the tank, there is a small, round, white silicone flap. When you open this, you will see this is exactly where the water travel to, before it drops into the tank below. At this point, you can connect the supplied clear plastic hose and simply run it into a floor drain, for example. This way, you don't have to remember to empty the bucket anytime but you do loose that pure water. Personally, I keep a gallon or two of this water for a steam iron and a steam cleaner. It's free, already distilled, water! Four independent moving wheels, make for easy placement around your home. Easy access to the air filter, makes that job quicker. The entire unit is smaller than my current, old unit, much lighter and looks so much better. The last point I need to make, again, is the smart engineering of this unit. As stated in the copy, rather than 5mm tubing inside, this one uses 7mm ones - and more of them. Not aluminum, but all copper. If you read the copy yourself, you can see that Aeocky has simply built a better "mouse trap"! The inside designs, the higher quality "guts" and exterior good looks, and made a superior product for the market. How good? Three year full warranty and five years on the compressor! Bottom Line - If I ever need a second dehumidifier, this is the one I go to. Excellent operation! To me, that's the most important. Smart features are things to consider, but again, this unit has those too! When you roll it all up, and add in the extended warranty, this is an easy deal!

Great dehumidifier
Replaced an older worn-out unit in my basement, which is *very* wet without assistance. It's been running 24/7 for months and is showing no signs of slowing down. Keeps the relative humidity around 35% in the basement (much lower than I'd prefer, but necessary due to the geography where my house is built) - which if you'd seen my basement without a dehumidifier, you'd know is impressive. Easy to set up (it's a dehumidifier), stuck the drain hose in a condensate pump that runs to my sump pump and that was it. I clean the filter every month or so, but aside from that it just runs. Would recommend.

efficient and quiet dehumidifier with above average warranty
This 1500 sq. ft. dehumidifier from AEOCKY comes with the main unit, user manual, a quick start guide, a warranty card, a drainage hose and a host adaptor. The dehumdifier is 2025 energy star rated and ETL certified, so it's safe to use in Canada and is energy efficient. The operation of the dehumidifier is very straightforward: turn it on, set your desired humidity level and the machine will start the dehumidifying process, pause when desired humidity level is reached, and restart when the ambient humidity exceeds the preset level. You can also use the timer to let it run for between 1 and 24 hours (in hourly interval), after the set time the dehumidifier will just shut itself down. The buttons on the control panel are very responsive and the fan operation is relatively quiet. The product has 2 ways to handle the water accumulated during the dehumidifying process: in the built-in 5.2L tank which requires manually emptying the tank when it's full, or direct draining through provided hose for continuous operation. During my 10 days of using this dehumidifier which I always use the timer option to shutdown the machine after 1 or 2 hours, I noticed that after the machine is powered on, the display humidity would climb fast and when the number stabilized, the displayed RH (Relative Humidity) is always about 10 points higher than what my digital hygrometer shows. However after running for about 10 minutes the RH displayed on the dehumidifier would eventually come down to display the same value as my hygrometer. I'm not sure why the initial display is always higher, maybe the sensor needs time to calibrate, or maybe it is located not near the top of the machine where I placed my hygrometer and its location has higher concentration of humidity. No matter what the cause, since the numbers would match after sometime and it did achieve the level of humidity that I'd set to, I'm satisfied with the result. Overall I'm very happy with this dehumidifier, it's easy and safe (ETL certified) to use, does a great job at reducing the humidity quickly, and offer a much better warranty (3 year whole machine and 5 year on compressor) than the 1 year warranty I've with my other dehumidifier, would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an easy to use dehumidifier with above average warranty.

Saved me this summer
Super happy with this dehumidifier, saved my life during this humid summer. I used it in my bedroom during the day to keep it dry for the night. Its a small room so it was super efficient for a big guy like this. Its a bit loud so I don't keep it on during the night but I don't want to keep my room to dry either so its perfect. Plus, even with its weight, its super easy to move around with the wheels at the water tank can handle a lot of water.
