So I took my dog for a walk. He gave one pull in excitement as he saw a bunny (he is not a big puller either) we were on the road that thank God was not that busy the leash snapped and he ran after the bunny. Had a car been coming or he had not been old and slow the bunny or he may have been killed. The leather gave away right at the rivet. The leash had only been used twice before because I had misplaced it. Yes it’s easy to hold but I am not happy about a leash that just snaps it could have been fatal

I applied 20 coats of neatsfoot oil to protect the leather. Happy customerUpdate 2/2/19After using this dog leash for 5 months, the stitching has detached from the leather making this leash useless. The leash has never got wet. The thread that is used in the leash is very poor and has become separated from the leather. My dog is 47lbs, is obedience trained and does not pull. The fault is the poor thread, not because of my dog or improper care. This leash should have lasted longer than 5 months use. My rating dropped from 5 stars to 1 star because it should have better thread and stitching. Don’t waste your money on this product. Refer to my photo.

I love this leash! Our dog trainer asked us to get a leather leash for use during training sessions with our Boston Terrier. Our dog pulls on the leash when we walk her and just using a leather leash has helped reduce the burns on our hands. We’re using it as her every day leash now. This particular leash is very sturdy and the leather is extremely soft and supple. Our trainer asked the brand, he wants to get the same leash and recommend it to his other clients. He was floored when we told him how inexpensive it was!

On the advice of a dog trainer I am working with for obedience training of my six month old Brittany, I purchased the 1/2" leather leash. My dog was quite the puller and my hands were pretty torn up by the nylon leash I had been using. The new leash made a world of difference. I use the leash in combination with a prong training collar and, walks with my dog are now relaxing and very pleasant for both of us. I highly recommend this leash.

When I brought my German Shepherd home at 8 weeks old this leash was PERFECT for her.As she has grown (she is 6 months old now) I was concerned that this leash may no longer be strong enough for her.But it has held up very well.This leash is a great investment.Definitely recommend.

🟡 Not as stated by Amazon ➜ NOT ➜6’ ➜it is 5 Feet 4 inches in overall length from end tip to end tip. It looks as if at factory they lessened its length as if they cut 6 feet of a leather strip out to make leash [ instead of 6 &1/2 feet to make it ] forgot they folded it at the handle loop to make a handle by half foot fold over thus diminishing leashes length from that stated in advertisements❗️

This is the best dog leash we have ever had. We are using it for a small dog so the 1/2 in. width is perfect. The leather is soft but very strong. I would highly recommend this leash . If you need an excellent leash I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this one. The price is also excellent.

Hi there! Just wanted to say this leash is made of good leather and craftsmanship is good. I wish their was a double stitch on leash handle,but what is there is ok.I also wish they would produce collars !!! If QC remains the same I would highly recommendThanks BillGREAT !! Customer service.

My puppy’s trainer recommended getting a leather leash. No idea why as puppies tend to chew everything. Mine chewed through this one in 10 minutes so it was a waste of money for me. Even if he had not, I didn’t find the leash to be particularly durable and wouldn’t purchase another one.The bags that come with the included “bonus” dog bag holder are the absolute worst quality too. My roll was full of holes, so check carefully before you stoop ‘n scoop!

Great full hide lead. Good and strong will last forever with good care. I grew up riding horses and know good tack and where ever this lead was made they did a good job. I ordered the collar after recieving the lead. Thanks for selling a quality product.

I ordered a 6 ft long, 1/2 inch wide black leash. The leather is supple yet strong and feels great in your hand.Unfortunately, it's not 6 ft long as described. And even more disappointing: after less than 2 weeks of using the leash, one of the rivet caps fell off. I wasn't hard on it; never handled it roughly or let the leash drag.Beautiful leather aside, I can't recommend this leash.
