OMTech K40+ 45W Desktop CO2 Laser Engraver & Cutter

For years i've been on the fence about whether to buy a laser cutter or a 3 d printer. In the end, I opted for this cutter engraver because the 3D printers in the price range seemed good for just making toys and models. With this I feel like I can actually build something worthwhile and functional. I am happy with my purchase, although I wonder if I didn't overpay for it, as I have seen talk on the net, such as reddit and elsewhere mentioning the same model...years earlier at a lower price, but maybe this particular model is upgraded in ways that the earlier models of the K40 were not. One thing I will say concerning the good quality of the machine is how impressive is the accuracy of the cut that I ask for it to do. I also feel that the safety precautions that the machine design implements are really quite good, and when this thing comes to your doorstep, you will see that this thing is no joke and it is one solid piece of machinery.
