Perfect upgrade for my 2004 C5 Corvette.
I have a 2004 C5 Corvette with the OE shocks, and it was time to replace after 22 yrs of use. These shocks are noticeably heavier than the OE., but they install just the same as the OE. Over all upgrade is very noticeable, a bit stiffer at first but when they get a few miles on them they dampen more for a very smooth ride. In comparison, the OE left me a little bit jarred (of course they were 22yr old shocks), and the cornering could be a bit nerving, and when I would drive over mild bumpy road surfaces, the active handling would go off as if I was loosing control. However, these shocks corrects all of the issues I had with the OE and more. I also I found my breaking to be less rolling, and driving long distances the ride is like a nice smooth road, regardless of the type of pavement. The fit was perfect. Tip for installation: compress and zip tie prior to installation, it will help with putting them in. I would recommend for the front to remove the windshield washer tank (driver side) and cooling tank (passenger side) nuts and move the tanks for easier access to the top shock bolt. You do not have to disconnect the tanks, just move them a bit to have access to the top nut. By doing this you will have an easier time installing the new shock with the 5mm Allen Wrench. Also you might want to have a hole punch available for the front shocks lower bolt hole to get lined up properly. Other than zip tie compression, the installation is easy for a DIY (there are many videos out there with step by step). For the value, well these are on the high end of available shocks for my corvette, but considering durability, the fact that they use these in the Z06 (I have a base model), and the ability to fit in my car, I think its a great value. I considered doing coil over shocks, but after reading about these shocks, and considering what I am using my Corvette for in driving, I find these are perfect for the open road or the occasional tear it up drive.

Big Ride improvement
Put these on my C5 Corvette. Big improvement over the old factory shocks. Very easy to install as well.
