VERY EASY TO USE FOR MORONS
WHEN IT COMES TO USING MODERN-DAY ELECTRONICS I'M A MORON..I USED THIS FOR ALEXA AT FIRST I HAD SOME PROBLEMS TRYING SYNC TO ALEXA BUT I WENT ON YOU TUBE AND THERE IS A SLEW OF VIDEOS TO HELP YOU OUT FOR THE SET UP OF IT..ITS A VERY BRIGHT LIGHT THAT HAS MULTICOLORS,SO FAR I USE THEM IN MY KIDS COMPUTER ROOM,TV ROOM. AND PORCH LIGHTS OUT SIDE.. I AM EXTREMELY NEW TO SMART HOMES AND THIS WAS A GOOD CALL TO BUY....

I provided light but won’t connect or turn off.
Connects for a few hours then goes missing. I think this bulb is bad. The app is very ooor as well. The Alexa integration may work if the bulb would stay connected to my all ubiquiti network. AC-Pros.

Fully failed in 7 months.
Having bought 2 Yeelight tunable white smart bulbs in the last several years and being highly satisfied with them, I purchased one of these for our living room in December 2021. With only a couple of connectivity hiccups that took a power recycle to fix, I thought everything was going well. A little over a week ago, all three bulbs failed. Though they were still useful as regular light bulbs, there was nothing "smart" about them. Power recycling did nothing, changing the settings on my wifi router did nothing, working through the Alexa app and the Yeelight app did nothing (device and/or server unresponsive), checking Yeelight support groups and posts for solutions did nothing, and- best of all- attempting to contact Yeelight customer support yielded nothing. While this bulb itself may last for 25,000 hours, there's no sense in paying so much for a bulb that's only smart for 7 months.

Works fine - Use Mi Home to setup though
Works fine. For those of you struggling with setting it up with Yeelight app, try using Mi Home by Xiaomi instead. That is the one that worked for me and not Yeelight’s app.

Fantastic LED Bulbs for Ambient Lighting
These bulbs are just fantastic. Zero issues with quality, setup or performance. They're plenty bright considering the 60w equivalency. LAN control and lack of a hub requirement makes them quite responsive - perfect for ambient lighting for movies or gaming. Mine are tied into Razer Synergy 3 and Alexa and perform as expected. You can use commands like "Alexa, turn lights on" and "Alexa, set lights to magenta at 75%" with ease. I'd recommend these over the (way overpriced) Philips Hue bulbs any day of the week (which was my original plan). I got my first Yeelight bulb (as a test) and liked it so much I immediately bought a second one and some cheap cylindrical desk lamps to place on opposite sides of my monitor. RGB bliss ensued. Unlike some Cree bulbs I have elsewhere, these produce zero heat and remain cool to the touch.

Perfect
Great smartight. Had a different, cheaper, light before and this one has a bit more features. Deffenetly worth the upgrade. The details are what made the difference. For example when changing to one color to the other, it fades into the new color instead of instantly just changing. The app is also very handy being able to change the default mode Everytime you turn it on. And of course love how it's Alexa controlled. One last pretty good detail is the music mode, where the light will change cors depending on what either your phone is playing or what the microphone on your phone is hearing.

Could be perfect, but bad update essentially broke bulbs
Got 5 of these and absolutely loved them (at first). I don't say too many nice things about myself but I'm pretty savvy with technology and diagnosing problems, googling if needed, reading up on forums, etc, so consider that before reading ahead since I know it can be hard to trust a negative Amazon review on smart bulbs since the people who are writing them aren't always the *brightest*, HA. Anyway, setup was relatively easy, had no problems for a bit, even setting them up in Homekit on iOS. That is, until, installing the new firmware update for each bulb, cause hey, if I see an update, I'm gonna install it, as one does.Well, lo and behold, one by one each bulb eventually stops working with homekit (still work thru the yeelight app). That is 100% the main issue. I have reset the bulbs countless time, but when I remove a bulb from home kit and I try and add it again, home kit says it is "already added" and that I need to reset the bulb in order to re-add it--which would mean I would need to 1. Reset the bulb, 2. Re add it in the Yeelight App, and 3. Re add it in the Home kit app.I did this. On two seperate bulbs, as a test. Twice. And each time, if it did work at all, it would almost immediately stop responding on the Homekit app. Sometimes there's not even any rhyme or reason or consistency to it so the problem is difficult to reproduce. It's a shame. The colors are vibrant, and it seems all the colors--including the whites--are all incredibly bright. Plus, with the brightness and range of colors, these are a steal. Almost as if it's too good to be true...There's also the app. It's OKAY. For some reason, I'm no longer allowed to save presets as a favorite (I receive an error that says "Failed to add/save preset"). Also, when you create a scene, you can't edit what each bulb does in the scene after you've already created it--you need to remove the bulb entirely, and then re add it with the scene. Not the BIGGEST deal, but it's an extra few clicks that are annoying when you could be trying to edit a scene with 5+ bulbs. So currently I'm just using the Yeelight app (without homekit) and have set custom scenes with Siri commands set up thru the Yeelight app only. It's basically a work around. Before, I could just shout "Hey Siri, dim the lights by 10%" or any arbitrary, non scripted command and it would work, regardless of what scene is playing. But now I can't just shout out general commands unless I have created a specific scene with a specific Siri command via the Yeelight app--and I have to make sure I say the command exactly as it is or it will not work.I reached out to their customer service and I really hope they eventually resolve this issue. I've seen many, many others online with the same problem after the firmware update, some dating as far back as March 2019. So I'm not getting my hopes up any time soon.I will definitely not be buying any more of these bulbs unless this is resolved. In the mean time, I will cross my fingers and pray that they fix this, and if nothing happens after x amount of time, I'll just end up going with a different brand.

Great
I think this light is worth the money, it has a variety of colours, can be scheduled, works with google home, and the brightness can be adjusted well. However, the shortcut icons from the app don't seem to work when the app isn't open, and the app closes automatically when not being used, so that feature is nearly useless, at least on android. Another caveat is that the colours decrease in variety as the brightness decreases, with orange becoming red, and blue becoming green. This product is mostly good, but probably isn't worth buying if you intend to use mostly dim lighting.Edit: I don't know why, but the dim colour range is excellent now, so I think this deserves 5 stars now.

Outstanding smart bulb
I think this is the first review for the new 800 lumen V2 bulb. I felt obligated to write this review after how impressed I am with this bulb. Let me first say that Yeelight did NOT pay me to write this, and I paid full price for this product like any consumer. I was simply looking for a cheaper alternative to the Philips Hue.The bulb itself feels very solid a build quality it superb. It's bigger than a traditional bulb, but that's to be expected. I had no problems screwing this into my Ikea bedside lamp.Setup was VERY simple. It took two try’s, but this was likely me entering my wifi password incorrectly. Once this was up and running in just a few minutes, the App was extremely simple to figure out. I think there is still room for improvement in terms of the App but I’m very impressed The bulb is quick and responsive when changing colours, and there are some presets like a Candle Flicker or Romance which are pretty neat. The colours are very vibrant and accurate.I only have one bulb so far, so it’s hard for me to test out things like Scenes, but based on the testing so far, I imagine it would work without any issues. The text in the App is translated from either Mandarin or Cantonese, so there a couple things that aren't translated perfectly, but nothing that would stop me from doing what I want to do.I’d love to test the Lightstrip also. Yeelight, if you’re listening and want to send me a Lightstrip to test, I’d be happy to do it!

Very nice.
I can turn on away from home. Nice mood light. I'm happy!

Disappointing.. Flickers to different shade colour and back.
Bought two at the same time, worked alright for a few months but now they change colours on their own. Double checked wifi connection and it's completely stable. Very annoying issue and is not a good sign for the brand's reliability.

Works Great With Alexa - Brighter then Hue
It took a bit to figure out what software to download. I found yeelight in the android apps store, it worked perfect and connected within a few minutes. After that I just did a discovery with Alexa, everything works perfect. Colors are great and the price is right. I found the White to be much better then the Hue, about 10 percent brighter.
