Solid Little Speaker with Impressive Sound for Its Size
This speaker feels very well built and solid, with good overall build quality. Itโs compact but doesnโt feel cheap or flimsy. Sound quality is excellent for the size, with surprisingly punchy bass and clear audio. Itโs easy to use and pairs quickly, and Iโve been using it around the house, including in the bathroom and out in the garden, without any issues. The waterproof design adds real peace of mind, especially for outdoor or bathroom use. At ยฃ29.99 at the time of review, I think itโs reasonably priced considering the sound quality, build, and features. Overall, itโs been reliable, easy to use, and a great little speaker for everyday use.

Tiny. Not powerful enough. Good magnet.

Decent small speaker suffering from the usual problem
Small speaker, 5"x2.5"x1.5" approx, that belts out a decent enough volume but as you'd expect the sound is typically muddy and compressed, but if you're listening to this outdoors in real circumstances (vs some studio quality listening station in a quiet room) it'd be fine, certainly as good as a small radio. Comes with a "mood lighting" feature which can, thankfully, be turned off. Has a rather strong magnetic mount which lets you attach it to ferrous objects. Can't say this was something I've been crying out for, but could be handy on a boat or similar if you want to minimise the chance of it falling. I also appreciate how simple it was to set-up on iPhone, but the speaker itself has a specific button to disconnect from Bluetooth and forget an existing connection, which will be unfortunate if someone presses it to see what it does, but is actually quite welcome. The number of times I've lent a Bluetooth device to someone only to have them be unable to use it until I disconnect it from my phone first. Forty quid, at current price, puts this in some rarefied territory from better known brands but I've generally been quite impressed with AGM products in the past and I do appreciate that you can get it up and running within a minute, the battery seems to last forever and the sounds, while not HiFi quality is good enough with plenty of welly and a solid attempt at bass (at the expense of the high end).

TRULY EXCELLENT SOUND QUALITY FROM THIS COMPACT BLUETOOTH SPEAKER
This is a very nice portable Bluetooth speaker. The excellent sound from this compact device is remarkable. It weighs only 6 ounces, it appears to be weatherproof, and it has wide frequency response. The low frequency end extends down to 80 Hz so there is solid bass performance without sounding muddy. The frequency response is quite smooth up to 5 kHz with a slight boost above 1 kHz. I measured it and here is the graph. There are no annoying resonant peaks. Turn it on and it plays some power-up tones. Next it pairs with the Bluetooth signal, plays connection tones, and then plays the audio stream. Its wide, flat frequency response makes both music and voice sound balanced, smooth and clear. The tones are modest and not loud. There is an variety of decorative color LED displays that are selected by pressing a button on top of the unit. This includes the option to turn them off. This speaker has an unusual and useful feature. It has a powerful magnet that allows it to be mounted instantly to any steel surface. This makes placement extra versatile. At one end of the speaker is a very inconspicuous rubber panel to pry open for access to the USB-C connector for charging the speaker. You need to know about this to be able to charge. The control buttons are on the top are part of the molded rubber case. Power on/off, Bluetooth pairing, Volume up and down, and LED display selection. The buttons are hard to see and operate but once you know about them that isn't much of a problem - except in the dark. I received one of these speakers to review and liked it so much I bought another. I think they are wonderful devices and are favorite additions to my audio equipment.

The magnetic mount is genuinely the best feature โ sticks anywhere I need it
I needed a speaker that could survive the garage environment โ dust, the occasional drop off a workbench, and humidity from being near the car wash area where I do most of my weekend projects. The AGM MagRock caught my attention specifically because of the magnetic mount, which seemed like it would solve the constant problem of trying to find a flat surface or balance a speaker somewhere stable while working. After a few weeks of regular use in the garage, the shower, and on a couple of outdoor trips, it's held up well across all of it. The magnetic mount is exactly as strong as advertised. It clamps firmly onto my steel toolbox and stays locked in place even with the vibration from power tools running nearby. Being able to just slap it onto a metal surface at whatever height or angle is convenient, rather than needing a flat shelf or clamp, has changed how I listen to music while working. It's a genuinely clever feature that I haven't seen executed this well on other portable speakers I've owned. The IP67 waterproof rating has been tested thoroughly, intentionally and otherwise. I've used it in the shower a handful of times and it's handled the steam and direct water contact without any issue. It's also taken a couple of accidental drops onto the concrete garage floor without any damage to the housing or any change in sound quality afterward, which gives me real confidence using it in an environment where careful handling isn't always realistic. Sound quality is solid for a speaker this size and rugged build. At 8 watts it's not going to fill a large outdoor space at full volume, but for garage work, shower use, or casual outdoor listening at moderate distances, the volume and clarity are more than sufficient. Bass has a reasonable presence without distorting at higher volumes, and the overall sound stays clean rather than turning muddy when pushed. The RGB lighting is a fun bonus feature, though I'll admit I don't use it constantly. For garage work it's mostly just background ambiance, but during outdoor evening use it adds a nice visual touch without being distracting. The TWS stereo pairing function worked smoothly when I tested it with a second AGM speaker, giving a noticeably wider stereo spread for situations where one speaker alone wasn't filling the space the way I wanted. Build quality overall feels rugged and intentional โ the rubberized edges and mesh grille give it a durable, no-nonsense look that matches how it's actually performed through drops and rough handling. Bluetooth connection has been stable and reconnects quickly to my phone every time without needing to manually re-pair. For anyone needing a genuinely tough speaker for a garage, workshop, or outdoor setting where a standard speaker would be at risk, the magnetic mount alone makes this worth considering, and the durability backs up everything the listing promises.

Strong magnet, powerful sound for the size
This speaker is smaller than I expected, which worried me, but I actually like it a lot and it has easily replaced my previous one (from a better known brand) Pros: - good sound: much better than my other similar-sized speakers: it is clear, good for music and podcasts, loud enough, really surprised me for the size - excellent magnet: the magnet at the back is strong, and the back is some sort of non-slippery rubber, to that it feels very secure once put on any metal surface, even a non-flat one, very convenient - the size and weight: it is small and lighter than it looks, so I find it easy to pack or bring with me, or to find a spot for it at home - waterproof: I have not tried fully immersing it, but I have been using it in the shower regularly, and so far, so good Cons: - RGB lights: I am old and boring, and colour lights are not my thing, I wish they would not turn back on by default every single time I restart the speaker. They are easy to turn off, but I wish it could save that setting. I guess it could be a pro for some people. - it makes a "turning on/off" ... melody every time it is turned on and off, much longer (and less distinct) than most. It feels loud and unnecessary, as if the speaker was saying "look at me, I'm a cool speaker" every time.... I prefer a speaker that just plays what I want it to play, without showing off every time. - the symbols on the buttons could be more visible. I understand it looks 'sleeker' with them being almost invisible, but again... I am old and boring. Just give me something convenient. It may look like many cons, but to be honest, they are all very small "preferences", rather than anything functional. I am very happy with this speaker and would buy it again without hesitation.
