Metal box spring
So easy to assemble and works just as good as a traditional box spring. No worries about wood breaking down over time either!

Box spring do it yourself
Easy to put together but still time consuming. Not a big fan of the cover. Wish it was full coverage with a zipper up.

Do not buy
Assembly was difficult as the nuts don’t fully tighten, leaving the box spring wobbly and unstable. It didn’t even last me a full year before falling apart on me. It was pretty cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.
