Nice Discrete Security Option With No Monthly Subscription Required!
I’ve been looking for a way to monitor my porch and garage area without mounting anything bulky to the outside of the house, and this window camera turned out to be the perfect "indoor-outdoor" solution. I installed it directly on my kitchen window, and the design is brilliant because it presses right against the glass. This completely eliminates those annoying reflections and glares you usually get when trying to point a standard camera through a window, especially at night. The ease of setup was a pleasant surprise. From unboxing to having a live feed on my phone, it took maybe 15 minutes. It comes with a long USB-C cable and the actual power adapter (which is rare these days!), plus extra adhesive patches if you decide to move it. I followed the advice to check the viewing angle in the app before sticking it down, and it worked like a charm. Speaking of the app functionality, the Ehome Link app is very intuitive. I particularly like the "humanoid detection" alerts—it’s quite accurate at distinguishing people from the neighborhood cats, and the notifications hit my phone almost instantly. In terms of picture quality, the daytime view is crisp and the color accuracy is solid. You can zoom in to see what's happening, though fine details like distant license plates can get a bit soft. The night vision is surprisingly good even though it doesn't use traditional IR lights (which would just reflect off the glass anyway). As long as you have a little bit of ambient light from a streetlamp or a porch light, the image remains remarkably clear. For a camera at this price point, the functionality and value for money are excellent. I love that I can use a local SD card for storage and skip the monthly cloud subscription entirely. It feels like a high-quality, discreet security upgrade that stays safe inside while keeping a very sharp eye on everything outside.

No drill but instructions are eh!!
Setting up was a Pain in the butt. Instruction font so small i needed a magnifying glass just to read it. the ehomes software kept rejecting my daughters email link, with no explanation, so I tried mine and it worked. After i registered set up got a little easier. the connection wire is super long and more than adequate. The daytime image is clear.

Sturdy!
This window camera is easy to install and you don’t need any tools. It’s easy to connect to WiFi and it has good adhesion, it’s also discrete and the camera is clear with day and night vision. You can also monitor it from your phone on the app!

Cheap and ineffective.
Horrible. Worked for 1 day and then wouldn’t work at night then started beeping all the time.

Decent camera, don't trust the app
I thought this would be a great security camera. The idea of installing the camera inside the house instead of outside is really appealing. It's protected from the weather, you don't have to run any wires outside, and someone would need to break a window or enter your house to steal it. The Velcro window sticker is a great idea. You can remove the sticker and move it to a different window pretty easily. They give you four stickers. I installed the camera on the upper pane of my window, so it doesn't have the screen in the way. I cannot open the window with the camera in place. I could have placed it higher to open the window partially, but I didn't want that much of the cord showing. They do give you adhesive clips for cord management. That holds the cord in place, but it does nothing to hide it. The camera is powered by a simple 5V 1A USB power supply. Once it's powered up, it has loud alert tones to let you know it's ready to pair with the app. The app is one of my main concerns. You have to create an account and grant it location and device scanning permissions. After connecting to the camera, you need to give it your Wi-Fi password. So, the app knows your email address, location, and Wi-Fi password. The camera connects to an unknown server over the Internet. The camera does not appear to support standard protocols, so you cannot use an app that you know is safe. You can pay a fee for cloud storage or install an SD card to store video. The image quality was good during the day and at night. The issue I had was at dusk. As the sun was setting, the video image turned very purple and looked horrible for over a half hour. Once it was completely dark, it switched to night vision mode and looked pretty good. So it handle bright light and dark just fine, low light was a problem.

Clever design for window mounting, easy to install and use.
This is an interesting camera with some good features. It was easy to setup and pair with my phone and gives me alerts when it detects humanoids. It will store video on an adult card you can put int the camera or you can purchase cloud storage. The camera comes with a long power cord and power adapter and 4 adhesive mounts that let you use the camera in different locations. The video is well lit even when it’s very dark in the viewing location. Overall it’s a very clever design especially since it can go behind a window and works well.
