Whimsical, Artsy, and Surprisingly Functional — A Must for Decor Lovers
I was SO pleasantly surprised by this melting clock decor! I got it in the *antique gold* finish (it has that beautiful gold-meets-black tone), and it looks even better in person. It’s such a fun, artistic piece—definitely giving that iconic surreal “melting clock” vibe inspired by Dalí-style artwork. What really impressed me is that it’s not just decor—it actually appears to be functional! There’s a battery compartment in the back, which was a really cool bonus I wasn’t expecting. Design-wise, it’s super unique. The side profile is a bubbled “glass”, which adds to the whimsical look. It’s very three-dimensional, not flat at all, and has a lot more character than I anticipated. Size-wise, it’s smaller than a sheet of paper, but honestly that makes it perfect for styling on a bookshelf with books and other art pieces. One thing I’d recommend: it looks best placed on a straight, vertical surface where it can “melt” downward *with support in the back*, rather than hanging freely (but don’t get me wrong, it can still technical work for both). I’ll show what I mean in my photos and video—definitely check those out for a better visual! It’s lightweight (feels like a sturdy plastic). Looks great styled. Overall, I absolutely ADORE this piece. If you’re an art lover or looking for a cute, unique gift, this is such a fun find.

Very cool clock, nice artistic touch
Timeact's melting Dali clock is a super cool bit of decor. As a watch collector, any sort of creative or unique timepiece, in any form, is something worth considering - not just for me but for everyone. Not enough emphasis can be placed on how important it is to have nice watches and clocks around. So, with this being said, there is little reason to discuss why one might want a clock that has been morphed out of proper arrangement, including discussions of artistic importance. Rather, I wanted to discuss how solid the piece is. In my color scheme, I got gold, the finishing was pretty plasticky, wherein I would have of course preferred steel, yet at this price range to get something that actually functions and balances properly on the shelf is very nice. Which it definitely does. I've encountered so many clocks that do less for more, and purchased so many without any forethought it seems. Here, is a chance to take your "average shelf clock" money and do something pretty cool with it. Overall, I'd say the unit is worth it and when compared to other products in it's price range it shows a pretty significant degree of taste. 5/5

Really cool piece
This is one of those pieces where you kind of know what you’re getting, and it delivers exactly that. At $17, it’s not pretending to be anything high-end. It’s a plastic clock, but it’s a fun one. The whole melting design is what makes it. It has that surreal, whimsical look, like something straight out of a Dali painting or a Mad Hatter tea party. It definitely leans more novelty than luxury, but that’s part of the appeal. It works really well in a game room, office, or anywhere you want something a little unexpected and eye-catching instead of standard decor. You can hear the ticking, which honestly just confirms it’s doing its job. It’s not silent, so something to keep in mind depending on where you place it. For the price, the quality lines up. You’re not getting a premium build, but you are getting a cool concept that actually looks good once it’s styled in the right space. Considering the price and what it’s meant to be, this earns full stars. It’s fun, different, and exactly what it sets out to be.

I love it!!
This clock is such a unique and eye-catching decor piece. The surrealist design really stands out and adds a creative, almost artistic touch to the space. It’s not just a clock, it feels more like a conversation piece that instantly draws attention. The size is compact but still noticeable, making it perfect for a desk, shelf, or small wall area without overwhelming the space. The silver finish gives it a clean, modern look that blends well with different styles. One of the best features is how quiet it is. The silent mechanism means no ticking noise at all, which makes it ideal for bedrooms or work areas where you want things calm and distraction-free. The only small thing to note is that because of the shape, it doesn’t sit securely on every surface edge, so you may need to find a flatter or more stable spot for it. Once placed properly though, it looks great. Setup was simple, and overall it feels like a fun, low maintenance addition to any room. If you’re looking for something a little different from a standard clock, this is a great choice.

Fun Clock with Caveats
This is a neat-looking clock that actually keeps time. Up close though, it’s obvious that it’s plastic. Also, because the working clock housing sticks out kinda far from the back, the clock doesn't sit flush against its edge and even the mounting “legs” are visible, so you gotta keep placement in mind to continue the illusion. It’s a great fun, idea, just wish it were better-made for the price.

Eye‑Catching, Fun, and Perfect for Adding a Touch of Surreal Art to Any Room
I added this antique‑gold melting clock to a shelf in my living room, and it instantly became one of those pieces everyone comments on. The design really captures that classic Dali‑inspired surreal look — the way it drapes over the edge makes it feel like it’s sliding right out of a painting. The antique gold finish gives it a vintage, artistic vibe that works beautifully with both modern and eclectic décor. The clock is surprisingly sturdy. Even though it looks like it’s “melting,” it balances well on the shelf and doesn’t wobble or fall off. The Roman numerals are easy to read, and the clock runs quietly, which I appreciate since I don’t like ticking sounds in the background. It keeps accurate time and feels more solid than I expected for a novelty piece. What I love most is how much personality it adds to the room. It’s playful, artistic, and a little mysterious — the kind of décor that makes people smile and ask where you found it. It works just as well in an office, bedroom, or creative space, and the antique gold color gives it a warm, classy touch.
