As a watch collector, any sort of creative or unique timepiece, in any form, is something worth considering - not just for me but for everyone. Not enough emphasis can be placed on how important it is to have nice watches and clocks around. So, with this being said, there is little reason to discuss why one might want a clock that has been morphed out of proper arrangement, including discussions of artistic importance. Rather, I wanted to discuss how solid the piece is. In my color scheme, I got gold, the finishing was pretty plasticky, wherein I would have of course preferred steel, yet at this price range to get something that actually functions and balances properly on the shelf is very nice. Which it definitely does. I've encountered so many clocks that do less for more, and purchased so many without any forethought it seems. Here, is a chance to take your "average shelf clock" money and do something pretty cool with it. Overall, I'd say the unit is worth it and when compared to other products in it's price range it shows a pretty significant degree of taste. 5/5
