Neil Enterprises Inc. Large LED Light Up Photo Snow Globe w/Silver Base

This is a wonderful snow globe to give as a gift! Our foreign exchange student asked for a snow globe and this is what I purchased for him. It was easy to setup and lights up very nicely. It turned out super nice and he loved it!

This is a nice big snow globe that is perfect for pictures you've captured with your cell phone. Not only is this a good way to display pictures that are less than perfect, it magnifies your photo, making a big impression. You can insert a 2" by 3" photo on both sides. When the snow globe is turned on, it cycles through an LED light display that automatically shuts off after about thirty seconds. Shaking the snow globe turned the light show back on. For all you folks too classy for that type of thing, the globe is perfectly enjoyable without using this feature. I was really surprised (in a good way) when I opened the box and found the globe was made of a slightly soft plastic, not rigid like other photo snow globes. It has just a little "give" to it, like a tetra pak, and that helps anyone handling the snow globe get a better grip on the ball. The snow flakes are big, white and plentiful enough to give a nice effect without obscuring the pictures. The one issue I had with the globe was getting the globe to "open" so I could put in our pictures without damaging the globe of water itself (Protip: don't try and do this on Christmas Eve after a long day of baking and gift wrapping.) I was so frazzled, I actually got a little screwdriver and unscrewed the plastic bottom of the globe and tried to open it up that way. I also maaaaay have snapped at my spouse a few times. Anyway, the process is a lot simpler than what I tried when I was full of holiday cheer-- Take a firm grip of the silver base in one hand and the globe in the other. Do not twist. Rock the globe back and forth. You'll hear a popping noise as you ease the globe off of the base. Wiggle the globe until it's free of the base and you'll be ready to put your photos in (the photo inside the globe makes a great template for cutting your own pictures out.)

This is really high quality for the price especially. Just all around a lot nicer than I was expecting. Super cute and a lot more sturdy than expected. I’m excited to give it as a gift. But be careful when handling though as the orb part is plastic, though it’s a sturdy plastic if dropped or pressed in to hard it will most likely dent.

It’s ok for the price point. I believe it has a small leak. It was easy to add photos!

The globe was exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to fit the photo into, and displayed the photo greatly. The material was a good weight, and the globe part actually withstood a couple drops without any issues.

Honestly its literally a glorified snowglobe. But the whole idea of you getting to put your own picture in is a lie, theres no way to actually open it to do that. So basically you get to light up whatever pic it comes with which is like whats the point if those are random people and not the people you know.

It came put together with no instructions on how to detach it. No problem because there is a video available online to show you how to do it. I used the picture that was inserted in the globe to cut my original photo down to size. It will hold two pictures, but I only used one. The batteries were already installed. When I turned it on, it worked immediately. The recipients of the gifts were vey happy and impressed that it was unique.

For the price. It’s good. My only issue is the large air bubble inside the globe. About 3” in diameter. A small bubble would have been fine, by this one is pretty big. But due to the price, I got what I paid for.

Getting pictures taken to put into the globe. Lights really light it up. Was surprised by the globe not being made of glass.

This is the first successful Amazon marketplace transaction I have completed. A couple of bad prior experiences left me hesitant to purchase from marketplace sellers. This item was shipped and arrived in a total of 6 days. As for the item itself, it is exactly what I was trying to find. It is very easy to place pictures inside (it is double sided) and you can change it at any time without unscrewing anything or having any concern of spilling liquid.

Fine product with good return service. Only bad thing was the product outer casing which was plastic. Otherwise the light was fine. I was expecting that the tiny fragments inside the globe would fly and move on their own by the batteries power supply but they didn't.

“Snow” was stuck to picture surface. Returned the item and was shocked to find out I had to pay to ship the product back despite the defect. BOO! Just found out how much shipping will be-not worth it

Very cheap plastic (dents really easily which is annoying) box came half destroyed and looked open.
