Value for the money , but the inking is a problem ...
It is a very good writer ...The nib is a bit too thick .It can be compared to a broad japanese nib ...The writing experience is very good and its one of the smoothest writers .The problem comes with the cartridge , its very small and u cant find a converter which fits it .I found that jinhao international converter was barely fitting it , but there is a risk of ink leaking ...

Better options available at this price point
Its scratchy. When I write, there's a scratch sound that comes off the friction between the nib and the paper. The writing is not as smooth as it should be. I used Cross Ink, which is one of the premium inks available in the town. I use a Sailor, a Wordsworth & Black, and a Waterman, and this Cross is right at the bottom of this heap (as of today). Possibly, I'll give it some more time to adapt to my style of writing, but my first impression is that it's not worth the price i paid for it. The overall build quality of the pen is great. The Ink flow seems to be okay, at least for now.

Needed some Nib adjustment Cross Pen
The flow was not uniform, inconsistent ink flow, sometime not writing at all, sometime overflow, I thought I purchased headache and irritation with this pen. But after some nib adjustment it's working now.

The cartridges won’t fit
The pen writes beautifully but the problem is cartridge, received 2 cartridges along with one ink pumping cartridge. First of all one cartridge did not fit at all, thankfully the second one fit. Then had no option but to go with the pumping cartridge which filled up ok the first time. But gradually it got loose from the top, even the ink leaked and now I am unable to pump any ink into it and it does not fit the pen!!! What good is an ink pen without ink!!! After shelling out such high price for the pen it’s not worth !!!

Il pennino non si stacca dal fusto
La scrittura è fluida e lineare. Conserva l'inchiostro molto bene anche dopo settimane di assoluto inutilizzo.Peccato che il caricamento è proprietario.

Questa CROSS Calais grigio opaco con pennino M, a cui ho montato una cartuccia Schneider color cognac, oltre ad essere sobriamente elegante e piacevolmente funzionale nell’impugnatura, risulta essere uno strumento di scrittura incredibilmente preciso, con un tratto fluido e al contempo nitido, che scivola via su qualsiasi tipo di carta senza senza alcuna fatica, regalando piacevolezza e soddisfazione, quasi fosse un pennello con cui dipingere. Davvero incredibile rispetto al prezzo corrisposto.
