Bell Powersports MX-9 MIPS Motorcycle Helmets

This fits my husband well, feels solid, and the MIPS is a big reason I chose it. The gloss white looks clean in person and the ventilation is good (he says it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a furnace). Padding is comfortable and it feels secure without pressure points. Definitely a quality helmet for the price and I’d buy it again.

Great price by using Amazon to find sellers discounting overstocked sizes/colors. The helmet is typical Bell quality; nicer than my older Bell street bike helmet and more comfortable. Very safe... DOT rated with MIPS at the price of a no-name Chinese helmet. Removable liner and ear pads that are anti-microbial treated. You can buy other sizes of ear pads to customize the fit if necessary. You can't beat this value. Even at the typical dealer price ($179) I think it would be a solid value. At the price I got ($104), it was a screaming deal.

After many rides with this helmet, the padding is still comfortable. It has enough ventilation to work well on a hot summer day in Georgia, and it’s light enough to ride for hours on end. Fits as it should and feels like a very high quality helmet.

Great helmet. Snug fit for glasses, but works with mine. Box was pretty beat up from the shipping, but thankfully no issues with the helmet.

Seems to be sturdy & fits my 14 year old well & wears it for every ride.

This is a very well-equipped helmet for the cost. The fit guide was spot on and the graphics are killer. I frequently get complimented on how good this helmet looks. MIPs equipped which is nice. The buckling system works well and is comfortable when tight. Overall, a good helmet. I also installed a Cardo comms unit, though, removing the pads caused a bit of an issue (hence 4 stars). The snaps are very tight for pad removal. I actually pulled one of the snap tabs out of the padding and had to use an automotive trim removal tool to get the rest of the snaps to pop free from the helmet, and even then it was a struggle. In the end, I was able to get the remaining pads out damage-free and the Carbo components installed. The helmet shell had cutouts for the comms speakers, which was a nice surprise. Being DOT-approved, I use this helmet occasionally on my ADV bike for street blasts between trails. It's surprisingly comfortable and stable at highway speeds. Given that the face is open (even with goggles) the wind noise is very intrusive so it's not good for long stints. My limit is about 20 min of 50+ mph before I get worn out from the noise. Nothing unexpected there, after all, it's a dirt bike helmet.

Landed on my head from a fall over a short drop and the only thing that hurt afterwards was my side because my body bent from the impact! Works great! MIPS tech is the way to go and it doesn’t get cheaper than this.

It was exactly what I expected, really nice design, comfortable and really well ventilated. Highly recommended for motocross/dual sport/enduro/super moto or scooter.
