I would say that it covers 90-95 percent of the information you need to service your 993. Excellent print quality and hard bound. Recommended.

Very comprehensive book

This book from Bentley Publishers is handy but it should not be your only source of information. It's definitely cheaper than the Porsche repair manual. But some bits and pieces are not as accurate or in depth as they should be. I have not tried the code in the back of the book to review potential updates that Bentley might publish. So, I can't really comment on that feature. Overall, if you are willing to spend quite some time online in the various Porsche forums and use this information in combination with this book (and maybe one or two others), you get a very good starting point on your very own slippery Porsche slope. But hey, the money you saved because you can now do some of the maintenance that your air-cooled Porsche needs, can now be spent on mods that are popular amongst some people.

Very comprehensive service manual for the 993. Although a little on the high side, it is well worth the money. Every 993 owner needs a copy even if you don't service it yourself as it gives you an idea of why the cost of repair is where its at.

The wiring diagrams and illustrative photos are worth a lot of the price for me. There are some errors or discrepancies with other similar publications that I have found in the short time that I have used the book. It should include the Turbo model for the price. Good book to have with the Adrian Streather (spelling?) book. Lots of overlap between the books; but enough difference to justify both.

Perfect; easy step by step instruction with pictures

Sehr ausführlich bebildert und beschriebene Arbeitsvorgänge, die weit über normale Serviearbeiten hinaus gehen. Vieles würde ich meinem PZ überlassen, aber interessant zu lesen sind auch die kapitel, an die man sich (noch) nicht heran traut. Teuer, wie der 993, aber lohnenswerte Anschaffung, eben auch wie der 993.P.S: Auf englisch, aber leicht verständlich.

Leafing through it, it appears to be quite good. I added this manual to the Porsche 993 Factory Service Manuals that come in the 8 gray binders that I already have. It is nice to confirm information. Just because it is in a manual, does not always make it right based on my experience.
