Alps Mountaineering Meramac 2 Tent

This tent is very easy to use. I was very pleased with it. It has four netted vents. Two, which are under the outer tent do not covers. This means that it is very well ventilated but I imagine that it might make it chilly in cold weather. It rained for much of the weekend that I used it and there was no leaking at all.

Great tent, very easy to put up

lo unico que no me gusto, pero que puedo resolver facil, es que no venia el tapete de lona incluido... fuera de eso, es una tienda de calidad, muy facil de armar, buenos materiales, espaciosa, alta, ideal para 2 personas, puedes estar dentro sentado sin problema, en general es una excelente tienda a muy buen precio.

J'ai vraiment apprécié ma tente durant ma semaine de camping, pluie, soleil, toujours confortable a l'intérieur. Ceci dit, c'est pas très grand pour 2 personne, moi je l'utilise seul et je peux y mettre mon équipement au sec et avoir de l'espace pour bouger durant ces journées pluvieuses. Bonne qualité, la ventilation est bonne et les fermetures éclairs m'ont l'air solide.

Camping out in the woods is on my bucket list, so I shopped around and settled on this tent. It was a good choice. The tent seems well constructed of durable materials and is remarkably quick and easy to set up. Even for me, a frail and elderly guy who has never assembled a tent before. You just spread out the tent, snap the pole sections together and slide them onto the retaining pegs at the corners, and then hang the tent's hooks onto the poles. Attaching the fly / awning is similarly easy. The tent comes with some extra ropes and ground pegs so you can anchor it to the ground or tie it to a tree or something if it's real windy. Otherwise, a ground peg at each corner is all that's needed to keep it in place. (You do need those, because this tent is so light you could probably fly it like a kite in a strong wind, ha ha!)Even though the tent is so light, it's fabric and materials seem quite durable and well constructed. I expect it will last for multiple camping trips.The whole thing folds and rolls up into the included carry case quite easily, and fits into my bicycle's trailer without taking up much room.This is a WARM WEATHER tent. It wouldn't keep you warm and cozy on a cold winter night! But that's not it's purpose. It should keep you nice and dry during a rain storm though, as long as it's oriented properly in relation to the direction of the wind and rain, and you don't put it somewhere that gets flooded more than an inch or so deep. The seams between the floor and walls looks reasonably watertight. The window screens in the doors have covers that zip up to keep out the rain, but the side mesh panels don't. However, the fly / awning provides a rain shield over them.The footprint is large enough to accommodate a twin sized air mattress just right. Even though this is a 2 person tent and I'm a skinny little guy, I wanted something roomy enough to move around and sit up in, and keep some of my gear inside with me overnight. Two adults could sleep in it, but I like the extra room for myself.I am quite happy with my purchase of this tent.

I've used this tent a couple of times now and no complaints. Seems decently made considering the relatively low cost.

Está genial, el material se siente de buena calidad. El espacio interior es adecuado para 2 personas(1.75m) y un niño o una mascota mediana, siento que hasta 3 personas entrarían pero con muy poco espacio para moverse. Las cuerdas para sujetarla traen un tipo de seguro muy práctico con el cual te olvidas de hacer nudos, lo que facilita el armado y aminora el tiempo. La he utilizado en climas muy fríos con algo de viento y todo muy bien aunque me gustaría ver su desempeño bajo la lluvia. La mia llego con una mancha como de aceite en la lona con la que la cubres aunque eso hasta el momento no ha sido de ningún impedimento para salir a disfrutar de la naturaleza.
