A great buy
At the beginning I wondered my usb-typed dvd cannot play it, but it fit the format without change the district.Four famous videos in a roll which make it profitable. They are capable of being converted to any forms by software build in my notebook.A worthwhile buy ever

Beware of regional versions!!
This was a regional version of the dvd which apparantly it is for UK only. We were unable to play it in the US. Why would the vendor send a version we were unable to play? Buyer beware. My kids are very upset and we have to pay to return it to the UK!! I now see other reviews stating the same issue!

Doesn't work!
When I bought these in July for xmas gifts, it was not noted that these would not work in region 1(on U.S. players) and now, since I gave for gift, I discovered they don't work here! Says too late for a refund and I didn't even get a response from the seller. Would give both the product and the seller 0 stars if I could.

Quality production and my daughter's favourite!
My 2 year old daughter loves these! As the 'movies' are 25-30 mins long, they're just the right length to hold her attention until the end. I have also played them for 3/4 year olds in my class and they loved them too.I bought these because the rhyming dialogue throughout develops my daughter's language and the accompanying soundtrack is calming and high quality. There are a few more details to the scenes than in the books too, which is a little bonus.The 4 discs are very practically packaged in one case. As another reviewer said, the discs are not HD but honestly that did not spoil it for us at all, the picture is not low quality in my opinion.

perfect for 2-4 year olds
Our granddaughter loves this book, so we got her the dvd and she loves that just as much. Lots to talk about, comment on, etc. so she is learning a lot of new vocabulary and having fun at the same time as learning about identifying feelings and expressing them. Just love this. Its also an ideal length for little ones, long enough to engage, not so long that they get bored.

Great box set
Great box set for my 2 year old daughter who loves these stories. Shame they don't put all the stories on one disc and all the extras on another. Pain having to change the discs all the time. Otherwise a bargain price for 4 stories that when bought individually can cost twice the price.

So good to watch repeatedly
1st watched this around Christmas on tv. Was so good bought own copy.Doesn't disappoint.Original DVD so great quality.Plays well in UK.

perfect bedtime routine
We watch a 30 minute story before bedtime. Having four in the pack allows the kids to choose the one to watch ... they are all very familiar now and not too long making for a perfect bedtime routine. My two year old covers his eyes during the scary moments (e.g. when the dragon appears) — very sweet!It's surprising that there is no Blu-ray set, only Gruffalo's Child is available separately in this format. An opportunity to offer a larger Julia Donaldson collection on a single disc perhaps?
