The first thing I want to comment on is the USB Miner board itself..I think with it being primarily an open design, the risk of ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) hurting the board, or if it were to fall would not be good for it.In a way, I think that having some sort of cover over it - might help to protect it a little better.The ease of installation was pretty straightforward. Since you do need to get the drivers/ software to run it - make sure you get them from a trusted source. Other than getting the software/drivers, you simply just plug this in to the computer.The speed is not that high, it takes a while to get very much - the mining pool I'm on collects LTC (Lite Coin). Then after you mine enough, you can convert it to the currency you want.Overall, I think it's worth the money paid for this product. At least it helps you to learn the basics of mining.

Like most people, purchased this unit (actually, 2) to explore digital currency/mining (more as an educational thing, didn't expect to make any money off of it). Followed the directions (as well as guidance from people on Reddit who owned the same unit), and found (like many people complaining on Reddit) that this unit does NOT last long. After 4 hours of usage, both units stopped working (not at the same time...but roughly 4 hours of use each they died).Not worth the money, or the time. This is flimsy tech based on outdated methods of cryptomining.I do not recommend for beginners.

Great for beginners but to be profitable you need at least 4. i like that the website of the item has a getting started tutorial. I got about 3.5MH speed without air cooling.

The concept is great and perhaps and more technically adept person could have benefited from this product greatly however my experience was fraught with frustration amd disappointment. To make the long story short - despite a significant effert and tremendous time investment I was unable to make this piece of equipment function as described. I followed the instructions, I did additional research, I involved friends. Yet despite all that, I failed to get equipment to working

I am brand new to cryto mining and wanted a nice way to ease into it. The Moonlander 2 was the perfect choice as it provides a low cost, simple setup for new users. You won't make much money (probably impossible to recover your money back), but it will teach you the basics before diving into a larger mining hub. I have it hooked up to a raspberry pi zero w and have had no issues with it so far. I definitely recommend reading different forums and videos on it, especially once you're trying to tweak the performance. Overall, it met my expectations and I am highly satisfied with my purchase.

I ordered this in January 2019 and I immediately found it extremely easy to set up and use. The PCB is well-designed and adjusting/measuring the core and memory voltage supplies is fairly simple - with a multimeter, of course. After 2.5 months of mining Litecoin I've already earned $1.40 and I'm considering quitting my job and staking my entire future on this one little circuit board.

I hope it will last a while! I used the main Site to guide me through the process of getting my miner to work! Thank you! My only complaint would be that the USB stick hangs down the side of my pc because the weight of the fan, but that’s just me.
