A little tall but solid
What can I say? It's a keyboard stand. It works. It's very stable and extremely sturdy. Structurally sound and great quality for the finish. The stand is adjustable for seated use or stand up use if you need. I use this on a 61 key MIDI controller. Should work well with a 49 key keyboard in the seated position which would move the left and right support tubes to their widest positions. It is a little high if you are used to playing at seated piano position, but I use this to position my controller next to my DAW workstation and only use it for composition and patch work. If you do stand up stage work, you'll love the higher adjustments. Under $30... can't beat it.

Casio ARDX Double X Keyboard Stand
This keyboard stand is built to be really strong. The manufacturer says it can support 150 lbs. (about 68kg), and although I don't recommend you repeat my idiotic test, it easily supported my 200+ lb. body weight. It is fairly easy to assemble, requiring only 8 hexagon (or allen wrench) bolts to be inserted, and it comes with an allen wrench tool also. It takes less than 5 minutes to assemble and the instructions aren't really necessary if you have the tiniest bit of common sense. Most pictures of this item fail to show it, but this stand comes with a very sturdy adjustable cross-brace that connects across the middle of the top rear of the stand. Just make sure the long tubes are on the bottom and the shorter tubes are on the top and you're good to go. An excellent product, hands down. Casio ARDX Double X Keyboard Stand

Stable enough for me to trust it
Assembly was simple, adjusting the height is a chore, though. I like that you can slide the top grips to fit under various keyboards. It works great for holding my keyboard in place and allowing me to practice as if it were an upright. The lowest height works fine for sitting and practicing, as long as I adjust the bench height properly. I am 5'4", so I'm not a super tall person, either, and I can manage.Pros: cheap, easy to assemble, very sturdy (even when my cat jumps on it)Con (?): height adjustment, but honestly if it were super easy to adjust the height, I'd be terrified that the whole thing would collapse with my keyboard on it.Knocked a star off because one of the eight bolts were different, still worked with the provided allen wrench, but I could tell tightening it the threads were biting the inside threads of the hole regardless of which step I decided to use this odd-one-out bolt on. I doubt this will affect performance, but it's something to think about if you plan on disassembling this frequently for storage/travel.

Casio Quality
If Casio can engineer quality workstations like my wk-7000, I was sure their stand would be no different. A 150lb. capacity double (x) type stand, adjustable, was no different. My (deluxe keyboard stand) is excellent for my use. Perhaps, for tall people, they may need a stand that sits higher from the ground. I have my workstation set at 32 inches because I use a quality seat to play at home. For the stage professional, height may be a problem when playing in a mobile band environment. For someone that needs to move around, standing to play if they are taller than 5' 8" could be cumbersome. The stand at maximum height, may need to have custom blocks added to increase the height. Perhaps two blocks made from untreated lumber, painted black, with a groove cut into the length of the blocks, for the entire stand feet, (19.5") long, 4" x 4" lumber cut too 22". (????)Extended max. ht., (L)18" x (W)16.3" x (H)36.4"

3 years later.
Bought this almost 3 years ago and I'm finally getting around to writing a review! It's a pretty good stand. It holds my 76 key keyboard without problem. Easy to assemble, relatively lightweight, and a lot of options for height. It's put up with a lot of abuse over the past few years and it hasn't really shown on the stand. Still holds it's position great. I did have to tighten the bolts about a year ago but that's not a big deal at all.My keyboard doesn't rest completely flat on it which causes a bit of a wobble when I play but that's nothing a piece of cardboard can't fix. I suspect that it's a problem with my keyboard and not the stand, obviously.

Sturdy stand
I always prefer double X stands to single X ones, largely for sturdiness, and this was no exception. A great choice for holding a weighted 88-key electric piano.

Solid and Stable
Holds my keyboard well but only sits on top as most do. Perfect for stand up playing, but won't adjust low enough to sit down without a piano bench or stand. It's too high for even the highest straight chair. Folds up quickly to 3 to 4" thick, but not completely flat.

Too Tall, repackaged return and missing assembly instructions
As others have said it is too tall. Mine was a repackaged return. Not a big deal but the instructions were missing, all the hardware was in a zip lock. Assembly took some time and refitting but I eventually got it together. It doesn't really fit 61 key Casio which could be a misunderstanding on my part. It is too wide so the keyboard sits on the metal tubes and not the feet. Also the feet are hard plastic so even if the keyboard sat on them it would still slide around. I thought about returning it but decided that I could fix the problems. I saw the fix that someone did by adding extra length to the adjustment strap but my keyboard is narrow already. I think a better fix is to drill new pivot an inch or two higher. I need to work out the angles and have been lazy so I haven't pulled out the drill yet. Disappointing.
