Simple, if a little hazardous to fit. Mine came with brackets as in my photo, not the ones on the listing. I had ordered an extra set of the ones that came with them as the other type were no good to me (they fit the springs with the brackets on the top of the frame before the upholstery, so they are really difficult to get to without a lot of dismantling).

Arrived well packed and wrapped tightly. I got this to fix a friends sofa spring that had been broken recently due to his family member. The kit arrived and contained what was advertised, the springs seem very tough and durable too so they should last. I knew these were slightly too large for what I needed so I would have to trim a couple of inches off them, dong that was not too difficult and showed me that the metal is indeed very tough and durable. I didn't need to do anything with the clips and it was a simple spring replacement, the clips do have a removable plastic part though so you can choose to have just the metal clip if you want. Overall a great replacement spring kit to fix damaged sofa springs at a reasonable price.

Yup these are strong and I'd say medium-hard firmness but not as firm as the ones you get in complete sofas from all the main retailers I did notice the difference, it was more springy and you sink down an inch more. But somehow just as comfortable as the firm ones so no difference Top quality, perfect for your DIY sofa or a repair they'll last for years

My old sofa is coming up to ten years old now, and with little ones running around the house I am quite hesitant to replace it just yet. It took me about thirty minutes or so to finish the repair, and I now have a perfectly serviceable sofa that will hopefully last us a few more years until the kids are a bit older. The quality of the spring feels nice and sturdy, and the zig zag shape matched the existing ones without any trouble at all. If you are looking to fix up a sagging or broken chair, I can definitely recommend this as a straightforward fix.
