At about $1.77 per tester, these are reasonably priced. My grandmother had something similar so I always like to have something like these testers vs a toothpick when baking. Unlike my previous ones that had blunt ends, these have pointy ends (not overly sharp) that I think are a bit better for inserting into my baked goods. Very pleased.

These cake testers are perfect! They appear to be stainless steel. The diameter is not so wide that it leaves a big hole in your cake. I like the length, they're long enough to get to the middle of a mile high pound cake. I'm not sure why I need 6 of them. One with one spare is probably sufficient. I guess I have some to give to my friends who are bakers.
