Adding a must-have guitar to the Dirty 30's line, the Series 7 is an acoustic Single 0 with a sound that can't be believed for the cost. Chalk it up to our super clean Cross Lap bracing and top quality materials, the Series 7 packs a punch. The spruce top is striking beneath the Tobacco Sunburst finish, framed by vintage-style checkerboard binding. The bound sound hole and Harmonella stencil fretboard markers are both functional and stylistic. The Tobacco Sunburst, Matte Black, and Matte Gray models include bone nuts and saddles and ivory-button tuning machines. Whether headed out on the road or matching the vibe of an intimate session, the Series 7 is sure to be a go-to-guitar.

Definitely a B-STOCK GUITAR finish was terrible but my 14year old autistic son wanted it.
Finish was Horrible.Fret markers flaked off within 3days of play.Go with something else if you Can!!!

Good Playability, Not Good Quality...Slightly Overpriced?
Pros: This is an okay guitar for what you pay, it’s probably not going to break the bank. Slightly overpriced. It’s something that you can leave near the couch and grab when you feel like noodling around. It’s a guitar you can take camping and not worry about banging it up. The action is pretty good, it’s easy to play. Bone nut and saddle, are better than plastic ones.Cons: The quality is just okay, the fretboard on the one I receive looks like it was left in the sun, or they just didn’t have good luck with the fretboard appearance. It doesn’t appear to be a wood fretboard...it’s a stencil fretboard. Turners are sticky and a bit unresponsive, you really have to turn them a lot, they slip slightly. That is my biggest concern. I might swap out the turners, if I come across something with good quality, at a decent price...maybe from a damaged guitar. Idk.I think this guitar should be priced, a little bit lower, like around $90 - $120, because it is not great quality. For $170, I could have done better...If I could have a do over, I would have went with the Kona, K391L-HSB for $92, as it seems quite similar, and is significantly less expensive.

Dandy!(just not Jim.)
Looked high and low for a left handed small bodied axe.Dust bowl dirty 30's radio show guitar.Found it in this series 7 single O.Couldn't get a Jim Dandy Gretsch to save my a#s, left handed. This guitar arrived prompt,in good shape and with a real good action set up.It's not very pretty, but it ain't gonna stay that way even if it was. I give it 5 stars. Under $200.Sears&Roebuck catalogue of old(the Amazon of it's time)sold Stella,Kay,Silvertone and Harmony guitars just like this one. These guitars don't sound like Martin's or Gibson dreadnauts. They aren't supposed to.I often use a pill bottle slide in my music and this little Recording King is great for that. So,if you like Marty Robbins,Robert Johnson or Woody Guthrie you'll understand what I'm trying to say.(A few days later)I changed the strings to Martin ultra-lites,10's I think they are,and this guitar got more profound mids with almost shimmering high end.The low end remained the same. Also the lighter strings are faster to play, easier to bend and not hard on your fingers. The more I play it the better it sounds.I might try some 9's just to see what happens.

Good lefty guitar
Just the right size for playing on the couch. It sounds good and looks good. Workmanship is very good, esp. for the price.

Not set up
Left handed, not set up. Bridge so low strings lay flat on fingerboard. Fret ends are sharp. Need filing really badly. Cheaply looking into person, like a toy. No cust service, when I enquirer about the problem, no answer emails.
