This ductless mini-split air conditioner and heater is unlike any other currently in the marketplace. ClimateRight offers a Quick Connect System, meaning that the installation is quick and easy - no HVAC technician required! The line-set is pre-charged and snaps right into the compresser for quick plug and play.Running efficiently between 4,000 and 12,000 BTUs with inverter technology, your single zone room or space gets just the right amount of cooling and heating it needs for rooms of 150 to 550 square feet (up to 4,000 cubic feet maximum). The indoor condenser (control and fan unit) is white noise quiet at only 42 dB. The outdoor compressor is only slightly more audible at 53 dB. Make sure outside unit and inside unit are compatible
I recently installed the mini spit system (model CR1200SACH) that I had stored in new condition for a few months. At the last step, the refrigerant lines did not mate with connection at the condenser unit. Now I am stuck with a non operating unit. I had planned on purchasing one more system for the building that I am working on. Needless to say, that will not happen.

Powerfully cooling easy set up.
Super easy to set up. I had my dad come over and help me set it up. It's definitely a two person job. I have a large open downstairs with no windows in the family room so I put the one ductless up with a 10,000 btu In the kitchen and I find my self only turning on the ductless 12000btu. I highly recommend the climateright.

Easy and qiuet
I bought this for my server room. It's about 300 SQ FT. It works great, it was easy to install, it did take 2 people to route the lines safely through the wall.

SEER is low
Just shopping right now. Everything about this unit had me excited, especially the part where you just plug in the 18’ power cord to a outlet serviced by a 15 amp breaker (even the coolant lines are a plug n play after you drill a 3” hole) but when I calculated the SEER (efficiency rating), it was only about 9.6 (I am terrible at math so calculate it yourself). The Mr Cool, which is about $600 more, and is also a DYI unit made in US vs China ( not to cast aspersions on a Chinese product but considering replacement parts), has a SEER of 20, which is unbelievably efficient. The Mr Cool is installed with electrical service separate from the unit, requiring a local disconnect and an electrician if you cannot do it yourself so there is that extra expense. The Climate Right, using 115 volt service is HALF as efficient. The 5000 BTU window unit I have right now, that cost me about $200, has a SEER of 10, so why replace it with the Climate Right? I have a solar array connected to the grid so I have excess electricity banked with the power company. If the window unit uses enough electricity to suck my bank dry before rezero time in March, how much money will I have to put out for running the window unit? I do not know yet so I guess it is a wait and see, or, buy a Mr.Cool with the highest efficiency AC available. If I had a security problem to deal with I would get rid of the window unit asap and put in the Climate Right, although I suppose the recycle value on the metal components of the part of the unit outside might mean it disappears, but, hey, no burgler is getting through a 3” hole in the wall instead of just crawling thru the window where the ac was ripped out. But I do not have a security problem. So, right now, the Climate right looks like a fairly cheap and painless way to get ac to my shop, which has no windows, but is not worth installing in my house because the window unit is more efficient. Looks like I have to buy the Mr. Cool for the house IF the power draw of the window unit significantly exceeds my annual power usage. Another thing to consider is the 11 amp cooling load and the 15.7 amp heating load of the Climate Right. Many home circuits are 15 amp circuits, with 15 amp breakers. That means you can run nothing else on that circuit, NOTHING. IF, and this is an important IF, the wires in the wall are 12 gage, you can replace the 15 amp outlet with a 20 amp outlet and replace the 15 amp breaker with a 20 amp breaker And have a bit of margin for operating something else on that circuit. If the wires in the wall are 14 gage, you cant do that. If, heaven forbid, the wires in your wall are 16 gage, as many are in very old homes, they will not support the Climate Right and might burn your place down some winter no matter that it is serviced by a 15 amp breaker.

It is easy to install
Have installed two 12,000 BTU units in my daylight basement renovation covering 3 rooms = 780 sqft. My wife and I installed the evaporators (inside unit) high on a 10' wall. I had neighbor-help to put the condensers on a platform 10' high so they're above the flood zone. A difficult installation under any circumstances but everything went together easy. Have been through a hot summer (8 days above 100) and chilly fall (40's) and these work great. We're on the Georgia coast so there's lots of humidity. The controller has a function to reduce humidty while saving electricity. This was a feature we did not expect. The inside units are very quiet while the condensers are especially quiet. Very happy with this product.

Been running non-stop for 4+ years
I use this unit in a conditioning chamber. I turned it on August 2016 and haven't turned it off since. I have had zero issues. It's honestly incredible, because all other AC units I have need some type of service at least every 2-3 years.
