Absolutely gorgeous, but a bit pricey and tiling them has drawbacks
I bought 2 of these films to install on a large bathroom window overlooking our tub (no idea why the original builder decided to use clear glass for this window). Due to the size of the window (42" x 42"), I had to order 2 films to try and cover the majority of the window. You can look at the image I posted in the customer images section to see how the finished film application turned out. Let me start out by saying that this film is gorgeous. It looks amazing and instantly improves the look of a window if applied properly.Pros:- Looks gorgeous, adds a lot of class to an otherwise plain window- Does an excellent job of blocking direct sunlight. I had only one film up for a while during the day so I could compare the effect of the film when illuminated by direct sunlight. It does an amazing (much better than expected) job of diffusing the harsh, direct sunlight, and instead casts a beautiful diffuse sunlit pattern within the room.- Very easy to install if you follow instructions... included squeegee is also a very nice and helpful plus- Size is exactly 24" x 36" ... patterns are also perfectly tileable across multiple films.Cons:- If using multiple films to span a larger window, even though you can match the patterns at the seams, the junction between the two films is readily discernible and does not look very nice. If you have a clear glass window then you are out of luck and there isn't much you can do. If like me, you have a window pane with a supporting frame within the window pane, you can line up the edges of the films along the horizontal/vertical lines of the supporting frame if you measure things correctly. This hides the seam very well as the shadow of the frame distracts the eye and you won't notice the seams of the film. You can see what it looks like in the picture I posted in the Customer images section- The first 2 films I tried using, I noticed a distinct difference in the color of the 2 films (not color tones, just the net gray color of the diffuse section of the 2 films) even though I installed both films simultaneously using the same soapy water solution. This only further exacerbated the visible seams between the 2 films (I did not line up the films with the supporting frame of my window pane on my first attempt). The 3rd film matched my 1st one better, but I was also helped by lining up the edge of the films with the supporting frame which tricks the eye into not noticing the seams and minor color differences between the films- Really would be nice to order larger size films for larger windows. As mentioned above, while tiling can work out reasonably well if you are lucky and careful, things would be a lot easier and the end result would look a lot nicer if you could buy a larger size film of this same type for larger windows.Tips on application of the film:- Use Windex and a lint free cloth or paper towels to clean the window pane thoroughly.- Use very few drops of soap in the soapy water. For my first film, I think it was a bit too soapy and as a result I had some minor milky streaking under the first film. It was nothing major or very apparent, but was still there. The second film, I used very very little soap and even though the water didn't "wet" the glass as well, the end result was much nicer.- Use LOTS of water on the window. Get it completely wet. It will make your life much easier by letting you slide the film and get the positioning perfect- Once you have the film positioned perfectly, very gently and slowly squeegee the water out. The film will move a bit from time to time. Make sure you are slow, patient, and that you keep re-adjusting the film position. As you squeegee more and more water out, the film will be harder to move, but if you are careful and persistent, you can get the positioning absolutely perfect.- Once you are done squeegeeing, keep an eye on the film for another 10-15 mins as the water dries out...you might need to re-adjust the film a tad bit, especially if you are trying to match seams between multiple films- Some air bubbles will show up in a couple of hours, or are easier to see as the lighting conditions change. Keep the squeegee handy and get those bubbles out whenever you see them.- Lastly, be very careful when squeegeeing at the edges. It is very easy to lift up the edge of the film on the backstroke.I hope all of this helps. This is definitely a beautiful product and works much better than I thought any film based product could work.Update (11/5/2014) - It has now been over 2 years since I applied this film on our bathroom window. Amazingly, it still looks just as good as the day it was installed. I have had absolutely no issues with delamination, bubbles appearing, edges lifting, etc. It has stayed on perfectly, despite being attached on a large window that gets very cold in the winters. I think it's safe to say that if you apply this film correctly, it will last for many many years. I've also taken this opportunity to re-evaluate this product to 5 stars from my original rating of 4 stars. The Cons listed above still hold, but I do believe that for the price, this product is simply fantastic and the fact that it has held up so well over 2 years definitely earns it an extra star!Update (03/24/2020) - Well, it's now been 8 years since this product was applied to my then bathroom window!! Since then, I sold the house as I moved states, but my old house was just put back on the market, and lo and behold, this product is still on the bathroom window (based on my stalking of my old home on Zillow) and looks just as good as ever. If it's good enough to still be kept on for home showings, we can only assume that this product is still doing great.

Artscape window privacy
The quality is excellent. I purchased this for a bathroom window. The bubble removal is easy, and the film ALL adheres nicely to the window and stays in place. The thickness is quality and still easy to manage. The design is great with no visibility just light coming through.

LOVE Artscape Window Film
I applied Artscape Window Film in Lace to a window in my master bathroom a few weeks ago. I really wanted to let the natural light in while blocking the view into the room. Without the film, we kept the blind closed all the time because the window is right over the tub and on a wall that faces our neighbors house. After applying the film to the bottom window only, the blinds stay open nearly all the time and the light can come in, but neighbors can't see what they don't need to see, such as my husband and I taking a shower or getting ready for work. It's a simply ingenious product that is easy to apply and looks like it was made for the window. Now I am considering using it for my shower doors also because they seem to keep a film on them and this would hide that as well as give some privacy if the kids ran in or out of room while someone was in the shower.TIP: DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, GET THIS FILM WET BEFORE READY TO APPLY!! THE PAPER BACKING WILL STICK TO IT AND IT WILL BE HOLY HECK TO GET OFF!!! I LEARNED THE HARD WAY WHEN A FEW DROPS OF MY WATER OR CLEANER GOT ONTO IT WHILE I WAS CLEANING THE WINDOW AS THE FILM WAS SITTING NEXT TO THE WINDOW. ONLY PULL IT OUT WHEN READY TO APPLY.

Great solution to cover front door window
I was struggling to find a product that provided privacy for my front door window. I decided to purchase this product and have to say, it is a fantastic solution - looks wonderful, lets light in, provides privacy, and was easy to install. I'm giving it 4 stars, instead of 5, because no matter how hard I tried, there are still little air bubbles. They did not show up until a day or 2 later, although they don't bother me much since you can only see them when looking in from outside. It looks perfect from inside. The installation was easy, but I suggest that the instructions add extra tips for installing on windows that have several panes. My window is split into 9 panes, and it wasn't until the 3rd piece, I realized I should have cut out the width of the pane separators, so that the pattern maintained symmetry. Also, the squeegee they provide is helpful, but using a credit card definitely helps eliminate more air bubbles.

Amazing Stuff, Looks Great and Gives total Privacy
I bought this product to cover the windows on our front door. It is really amazing. The pattern looks like it's part of the window and still lets the light shine through, but no one can see in anymore. It takes some time to cut the film to size, but the actual application takes very little time. There will be a few air bubbles that stay, but they're hardly noticeable. The only recommendation I would make is to use your fingers or something smooth instead of the squeegie on this particular film (I've used other films from this line for other rooms, also awesome). The squeegie gets stuck on the film when you're trying to smooth it out and makes wrinkles. Smoothing it out with your hand works well, though.
