Programmable WIFI Heating Thermostat Wireless Digital LCD Touch Screen App Control Temperature Controller 110V(Black)

I ordered two of these "Yosooo Programmable WIFI Heating Thermostats" because I wanted WIFI control for under floor heating at my cabin for two rooms, at a reasonable price. Unfortunately these thermostats only looked good in the Amazon store window.They arrived on time. I am returning both. (within 30 day window)One did not work out of box, would cycle thru a 30 second power off / on cycle forever, until power was removed.Instructions were nearly incomprehensible. Supplemental instructions to connect to WIFI did not work. These instructions outlined a procedure that could not work because it expects WIFI connectivity before it can be updated with WIFI ID and password. I have connected several smart home devices to WIFI. This device did not beacon a wifi connection to cell phone app at setup as other smart home devices do.The Thermostat did appear to work independent of WIFI. but I did not go thru all the programming steps to set up schedule. Nor did I test the functionality and accuracy of the included under floor temp sensor.Had to manufacture special face plate to mount unit as it is not compatible with standard size US electric boxes.Thermostat only does Celsius.My challenge is finding a reasonably priced under floor heating thermostat with remote wifi connectivity. they are available but at 3 times the cost of this unit.

Farenheit setting would b nice...

Ambiguous poorly written instructions. Does not fit a standard electrical box and only works in Celsius. Not really meant for the American market. Should’ve known better.

Can't bet the smart home function to work. Just won't connect to the app.
