Tea Forte KATI Tea Brewing System Green Leaves

I am loving this cup. I fell in love with the design and ordered two. I had one shipped to me and one shipped to my friend who lives 5 hours away in another state. It's a beautiful cup we both love. My favorite thing about it is that it doesn't get hot like most ceramic cups on the outside. It stays cool, even with no handle. My only downside is that I don't like the infuser. The rounded bottom moves a lot on the lid/coaster. I wish the bottom was flattened so it would stay put where I sit it. It won't keep me from buying another though! I have a feeling more designs in this style cup are headed my way!

Great looking but not the best if you are looking to steep the perfect cup of tea. The basket is way too shallow to allow for the proper tea to water ratio for the size of the mug. What you end up with is a very tall mug of tea flavored water. A deeper basket would be ideal.

Love this cup. Works as expected. Comes with 3 peices, the mug itself, the basket, and a top ceramic lid. One downfall is that the item seems to be a ceramic-type of material and the heat of the tea quickly transfers to the mug so its hard to hold without some protective layer. Otherwise the tree design is awesome and I like that I can just put my tea leaves in the basket and pour my hot water over it and let it seep for however long I need.

The cup came on time and works fine, however I did notice some green marks on the cup where there shouldn't be one. Overall, as a brewing tea cup, you can find a better one.

I really love the mug - it is perfect for work. I keep it in my desk and whenever I want loose leaf tea at work, this is works perfectly. The only downside is that the mug itself gets very hot to the touch. The first time I used it, I had to wrap some paper towels around it. I'm going to have to buy a reusable holder/coozie in order to use it again. Otherwise, I have no complaints. I'm definitely going to get this as a gift for my tea drinking friends.

Fun little work cup! I use it to brew loose-leaf tea at my desk. Word of caution: if you need to move from room to room at work, this mug does NOT travel well. Despite insulation it is quite hot to the touch and even with the lid on liquid is prone to spill over the rim when you are walking. However, if left stationary it is a lovely solution for getting your tea fix.

This cup is solid, the parts fit together perfectly, and it's overall great for steeping tea. The lid keeps the contents nice and hot. I enjoy it so much I bought my fiance his own. All this said, I think it could be improved if it had a handle since the outside gets extremely hot. I get nervous carrying it around with paper towels to keep my fingers from burning- I'm afraid it might slip out of my hands one of these days.

The inside of the cup came cracked so when i poured hot hater into it i could see air bubble starting to come out from. I'm sure the product would have worked great had it not been for that but with liquid seeping into the double wall this item it is not completely useless and probably unsafe. Wish this was not the case but I will move on to a different and hopefully better quality item.

I thought I would be super impressed with this tumbler, but I found too much to be disappointed with. The tumbler only feels "cozy" if your hands are made of Teflon. Believe me, I cook a lot and over the years my hands have developed a way to deal with intense heat, but this is dangerous. Once you pour hot water into the tumbler, it becomes far too hot to hold to move away from the kettle to your destination. Even the lid becomes too uncomfortable to manage. You'll find that your loose tea you'll find just floats to the top and gets into the grooves of the tumbler. If you thought you could drink your tea from the tumbler without loosing the desired strength, again you'd be mistaken because you are not provided with a very necessary spoon to help compress the leaves. Now here's another gem. Where do you put your leaves once, you assume your tea is ready, a plate perhaps? No, you have no plate, you could use your lid I suppose and make a mess doing so. Once you have moved passed that one, let's say you want to keep your tea warm in between drinking, you might think you could put the lid back on and why not? (If your lid isn't housing the strainer.) Be careful, because now the lid can get stuck on the tumbler. You have to hold the scorching hot tumbler to place the equally hot lid on and off, praying that you don't have a serious encounter with your hot beverage or spill the contents over your expensive laptop. If you thought about drinking your tea through the gap left after removing the strainer, don't! The lid will be hot whilst on the tumbler and unstable and your drink will spill everywhere. I didn't do that, but I can see the temptation to try. To round off, this set does not cover even the basics and I doubt it was designed by a loose tea drinker. Either stick to your cup and plate or your travel mug, I have always used the one that begins with a 'B'. I think I have covered the long and short of it, so please be aware and stay that way. It is pretty though, but so are my hands!

Die Teetassen sehen toll aus. Nachdem ich meiner Mutter eine geschenkt hatte, war ich so überzeugt, dass ich mir gleich selbst eine kaufte. Tolles Design und das Sieb ist sehr fein. Die Tassen haben eine Doppelwand, damit man die Tasse trotz heißem Inhalt noch anfassen kann. Leider ist bei beiden Tassen der Boden undicht, sprich es läuft Flüssigkeit heraus. Zu Beginn ganz leicht, inzwischen aber echt deutlich, dass ich die Tasse nur noch sehr ungern benutze. Da das Problem bei beiden Tassen auftaucht kann ich es leider nicht als Pech verbuchen. Das ist sehr schade, zumal die Tassen ja nicht ultra günstig sind.

Ho già avuto 3 tazze di Tea Forte perciò conoscevo già il marchio. Questa è la tazza di nuova generazione, cioè con nuovo cestino, che sembra di essere più resistente di quello vecchio. Il rivestimento è più lucido di prima. Bello il disegno.

Wir haben zwei dieser Tassen und ärgern uns warum wir diese nicht eher gekauft haben.Die dicke Keramik hält lange den Tee wie in einer Thermoskanne warm. Das Teesieb welches durch eine kleine Stufe den Tee dort lässt wo er hin gehört.Der Deckel verringert das auskühlen und verhindert das evtl. Sachen aus der luft den Tee fallen wenn man im Garten sitzt und den Tag genießt.Die Tasse wird zwar warm aber für mein empfinden nicht so warm das man sie nicht mehr anfassen kann. Den Henkel vermissen wir überhaupt nicht.

Una bellissima tazza: bella, grande, robusta ed ottima nella fattura. Anche il filtro sembra fatto bene e con ottimi materiali. La porcellana molto spessa evita di scottarsi con l'acqua calda e matiene la temperatura per molto tempo. Consigliatissima
