Value for money
Good value for money. Portable. Easy mounting. Quality could be better. However the anti reflective property is amazing for the given price

Screen creased where itโs folded
Having only recently purchased a projector and quite new to it all, I felt a portable type screen would be my best option & for the price opted for this one. I had read about it arriving folded up in a much smaller carton but with it being wrinkle free thought any creases would easily drop out, how wrong can you be ? Tried ironing the screen, which is difficult in itself, so then looked online at other methods and tried a hair dryer, it was better but still creased ! Itโs a shame as the picture quality is amazing so sort of lets it all down, hence the 3 stars. Iโve decided to keep this one rather than sending it back as they may drop out over time and possibly use for outdoors instead. Disappointed overall but apart from the packaging method, which I get Iโd say itโs well worth the money I paid, as it still does the job intended, but definitely worth bearing it in mind.

Absolute garbage
This should have no stars. About as much use as a bedsheet in the slightest wind. Crap

Hmm - retro-reflective material isn't the best for group viewing!
You don't get something for nothing and this is very much the case with this collapsible projection screen. Without getting too into it, the issue with projectors is that they have to fight ambient light levels to provide a decent image in anything other than total darkness; this screen sets out to help with this by being made from retro-reflective material - think the patches which flash bright white on hi-viz clothing when you catch them in your car headlights. It claims to be able to reject ambient light (which is coming from a different direction to your projector) and allow you to focus on what the projector is throwing out. On the face of it, this seems like a great idea; the screen does a great job of ignoring ambient light and reflecting back the projector output but with one important caveat - the light is only reflected back in the same direction that it came from, i.e. back at the projector. Unlike a plain white screen which will scatter the light in all directions, this screen is very directional. I have tried to show this in my pictures - as soon as your viewing position becomes slighty offset from the projector, the screen's image (as you will see it) dims considerably. The two pictures of the Bugatti Veyron video are shot with the same aperture, exposure and ISO settings, only the angle at which I was looking at the screen has changed! As a result, fill a sofa full of watchers and at best only one will get a bright image, the others will soon get bored and start looking at their phones...wait, most young people do that anyway! Of course, this is in daylight, but that it the point of this screen. When things are dark, it works fine, but then so does a sheet or wall which costs a lot less than this does. On the plus side, it's easy to put together and does pack down small. This does mean that the screen will get creased and the manual suggested ironing these out before use - I didn't bother initially and when the image is good, the creases soon 'disappear' but the more discerning viewer will need their iron on standby when putting this up. So, this is best for solo daylight viewers in my opinion and so hard to recommend, especially at the price (ยฃ49.99 at the time of review)

Bright picture with good contrast
Pinning the material directly to the living room wall creates an enormous, flat viewing surface. The fabric pulls taut easily, eliminating annoying wrinkles that usually distort the projected image. The reflective coating significantly boosts the brightness of the picture, making colours pop even with ambient light leaking through the curtains. The reinforced eyelets along the border handle strong tension without tearing the surrounding fabric. Hanging it outside between trees works well, though the material catches the wind like a sail on breezy nights. The viewing angle feels slightly narrow, with the picture dimming noticeably when sitting far off to the side. The grey tint deepens the black levels in dark movie scenes, creating better contrast. I recommend ironing the fabric gently on a low setting before hanging. The black border frames the picture nicely, hiding slight misalignments from the projector. The lightweight material makes transportation and setup completely manageable for one person.
