Osprey Ozone Wheeled Carry-on 42L/21.5"

I bought this suitcase for a 12 day trip to Japan. I was able to bring adequate clothing (using cubes) and also include 2 pairs of shoes in the suitcase. I like the handle on the side which can be used to carry as well as to assist in placing in the overhead storage. We moved about using the awesome train system and the wheels and handle felt sturdy and functioned well. It fit well into the overhead storage on the trains and I was able to lift it easily even though it was pretty full. It is now my go to suitcase!

Very lightweight, but durable and packs a lot. If you’re not careful, you’d end up packing more than what is allowed in any airlines. It has great wheels that can easily maneuver in any street whether paved or uneven cobble stones. Solid zippers and the fabric is water resistant and the luggage stands upright when loaded. Just a nice feel overall. Worth the price you’ll pay for because it has a lifetime warranty.

I am in love with my Osprey Ozone. I do carry on only and try to pack as light as I can. The Osprey Ozone only weighs 2.2 lbs! It is the lightest bag I have found. I only allow my packed bag to weigh 16lbs and, yes, I weigh my clothes so I can keep my bag at 16lbs. The Osprey has a roomy interior, two net compartments on the inside flap good for underwear and socks and two big outside zipped pockets good for travel documents, iPad or laptop and a coat in the other one in the front of the bag. There is also a small pocket on top near the handle where I put my 3-1-1 bag so I can easily take it out for TSA security. The frame is sturdy and I love the big wheels as it rolls very smoothly. The Osprey is a sturdy bag without the weight. I highly recommend it if you are looking for the lightest carry on on the market.

Traveled through India, Italy, Hungary, Greece, USA with this bag - it's just big enough to allow adequate clothes and incidentals but small enough so you don't overpack. Rolls nice and the frame is sturdy.

I had bought a cheap very light weight carry on years ago and it lasted me about 6 years of occasional use. But the wheel were horrible. The material also had early on shown the wear and tear. So this was on sale and I wanted something that would have better wheel and be extremely light weight. This seems to fit the bill very well. I wanted to travel to China which is why I bought this, but well with the virus... It has a really nice pocket at the top that will hold a lot of bulky things you might want to have quicker access to, even a hair dryer and a brush with plenty of extra space. The pocket in front even easily fits some bulky things. But to keep things like papers I would use the back pocket which easily takes unfolded letter size and probably A4 but do not think legal would work well. It could take a laptop, but not my 15.6" with its very thin bezel.

This bag is great for one week of travel holding several changes of clothes, toiletries, 3 pairs of shoes and two small handbags. The wheels while roll well only roll in one direction which can get hung up sometimes. Light as a feather and easy to load in overhead bins. If bins are small tho it only fits sideways taking up more overhead bin space

Amazon was helpful even though this product stopped functioning 15 mos after I purchased it. I’ve used this piece about five times. Currently on a road trip with a car full of people and luggage so careful packing is required. Unfortunately the telescoping handle is now stuck fully extended and will not retract. Very poor quality for a piece priced at nearly $200.

Although the weight and feel of the bag may indicate as first impression otherwise, upon closer inspection this looks like a very solid and durable carry on luggage.Advertises to be a 42L/21.5" bag that weighs 4.53 lbs. The dimensions make it safe as carry on and the light weight helps you pack more of your clothes and less worry of going over.The winning feature is their large roller wheels which makes it a joy to operate over a variety of floor conditions from challenging carpeted terminals to uneven pavements on the streets. This is unlike the smaller wheels all travellers have been used to from the cheap to the more expensive traditional luggage.POCKETSThere are a good amount of pockets for organization, but I feel there should be more seen and hidden ones. While the pockets it comes equipped with is too small for my liking.For example there are two front pockets - one large one to hold last minute stash say from duty free shopping while a second pocket on top for smaller items to house your small liquids or even your gadgets and stuff. And while they seem perfect, all they allow you is to dump everything in there. I expected to see inner pockets in each of them as well as zippered pockets to house loose items like coins, cables, chargers, as well as pen holders.There is a third pocket at the back to secure paper documents, but accessing it is tight to say the least. You will need to ensure these are documents housed in it's own protected sleeve or you risk folding and tearing it with every access to it.What's missing are side pockets to house specialty items like water bottles in one side and a phone holder the next.MAIN COMPARTMENTAccessing the main compartment is the middle zipper in the front. There are two zippered mesh pockets to house probably a shoe in each or small loose items.While there is a compression strap to secure your clothing to ensure they stay in place.I expect again being the main compartment to have tons more internal pockets and compartments to keep me organized during travel. Headphones, cables, and other quick access compartments would have been a great addition.ZIPPERThe main compartment is a U-shape access which is easy to unzip, but a bit more effort to zip up once fully opened. Which is surprising because the zipper is big you expect a very smooth operation. When in fact there is resistance trying to close it that you have to follow the shape of the bag or you won't be able to close it just by pulling the zipper sight unseen.HANDLEThe handle is as expected from a compact travel luggage. Just like all other travel bags with this feature, there is a protruding bar internally limiting space to pack more items. But this is a given.What I am disappointed about is that it only locks with one height. I honestly expected at least two or three height adjustments which isn't the case. There is a middle lock which is false hope as it really doesn't lock and allows the handle to collapse.LINERThe bright coloured liner is definitely a plus being a contrast to your own items. The colour choice is not my liking as it looks old. That is personal preference and nothing against the rating on the bag.GUARANTEEWhat makes this bag shine is the history of the manufacturer as well as their awesome "all mighty guarantee". That alone is the price of admission in why you would want to invest in this bag than others. Of course it doesn't come cheap as well.OVERALLA go to bag for heavy travellers who depend on a bag that will stand the abuse. If they can produce a version with lots of internal organization pockets and additional external pockets, this would be a winner for any traveller looking for a durable luggage.

Pour emmener en cabine des vols low-cost (Easyjet, etc) elle est très bien avec plusieurs compartiments bien conçus. Le compartiment principal possède un système de sangles avec rabats pour éviter que les chemises et pulls tombent en bas pendant le trajet. Le monobras télescopique est top, mais manquerait quelques cms de longueur (pour moi, mais je fais 1m95). Un petit compartiment en haut cache une sangle permettant d'attacher un deuxième bagage, par exemple, petit sac à dos, pendant les déplacements à l'aéroport. Les roues sont assez grandes et bien écartées, l'ensemble roule à merveille même bien chargé, sans faire de bruit. Le produit est garanti "à vie" selon le fabricant (l'inscrire sur leur site web). Seule remarque, les deux sangles de compression en diagonal à l'extérieur n'ont que très peu d'utilité, par contre elles compliquent singulièrement l'ouverture et la fermeture du compartiment principal. Je vais probablement les supprimer. Si le produit était moins cher sans ces sangles... avis aux marketeurs de chez Osprey !

This was my fifth piece of Osprey luggage/rucksak/bag and as always the build quality and attention to detail is stunning. highly recommended for someone looking to save weight but not at the expense of poor design and quality.

durable, multiple pockets, can fit quite a bit more than it looks like it can. Fits in overhead compartment for planes and the wheels are durable so that you don't need to carry a heavy bag
