No problem with holding the phone. But its on my desk and the suction pad cannot be removed. I tried every which way to remove it, but its now literally super glued to my desk.The desk does not overheat.... god help if you stuck this to your windscreen.Fine for now, but happens when I do to remove it without damaging the desk!!!Marked down.^^ That was my original review. Now want to add that I actually had to remove it and I got two knives under it, to eventually release it.The sticky pad split and stuck to itself so had to remove some of the pad. Then tried to reattach where I needed it and literally it will not stick.It sits for a while with the phone in the cradle and then falls over.DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU INTEND TO STICK IT ONCE, AND NEVER EVER MOVE IT.

This is the 2nd one i have bought. Very good but remove from the windscreen if you leave your car windscreen facing the sun in the Summer all day. I learned the hard way after the adhesive sucker started to melt.

Great product for the price. suction and strength are very good and when it stick you can be sure it will not come off. However this will not stick to my dashboard, I am not sure why i have tried to find the flattest part but it will only stick to the window. I also used this on a Ryanair flight by sticking to the back of the seat in front so that I could watch movies with out straining my neck :-)

I put it on and straight the way it was a great product
