LEGO NINJAGO: Fight the Power of the Snakes Brickmaster Hardcover – July 30, 2012

This is the 2nd Lego Brickmaster book/set I've gotten for my nephew, the 1st being Star Wars, and these books are amzing! You get 2 minifigures, and from the parts included you can make 1 of 4 different battle scenes. A Snake Trap & Ninja Bladed Car~ A Snake Jet & Ninjacopter~ The Senrpent Trap & Ninja Bike ~ The Serpent Temple & Ninja Speeder. But being Legos of course kids can make whatever their imagniations want, which is why I always believed Legos are the greatest toys ever for kids. But another great thing about these books/sets is they include background info re: Ninjago. Characters, heroes, villians, history. Amng the step-by-step instructions for each of the 4 sets are tips for kids on what/how to play with the Legos. (EX: When done collect all the pieces and keep them together so you won't lose them and can build another set.) And they post character trivia/facts which helps if one isn't 100% familiar w/ the characters. I've a feeling this is very useful for adults. There's an earlier Ninjago Brickmaster book out w/ a different Ninja & an earlier enemy which I'm planning on getting my nephew.

We love,love, love Brickmaster sets and this one does not disappoint. My 5 year old and I have lots of fun reading and building together. He is a big fan of Ninjago so this set was a hit. The Brickmaster sets are reasonably priced, as far as Lego sets go.

These brickmaster sets are wonderful. My 5yo son loves this. Occupies him for hours. It makes several different sets to play with. I love how it takes the same pieces and makes many different things. He builds something then takes it apart and builds something else (unlike the other Lego's we have that once built stay that way).

My grandson likes Lego Ninjago - legos, videos, all of it. He's even started karate and I think it's because he likes the Ninjago line so much. We read all the information in the books and spend time talking about it. I think I might like them as much as he does, but maybe it's the time we spend enjoying it together.

My son gave it a 4 star coz he love the building part but don't really like reading.... Hahaha.... It's a good book to get kids to read coz they gotta read some of it to know why they are building what they are building.....Update: this is a good buy as till now, he still love playing with it. And he started reading the whole book. He rejected reading it at 1st but guess kids will be kids, he wanted to find out abt the story and I saw him reading it!

The pieces inside come with the pages to show how to make various things- like vehicles and structures. My cousin (who is 7) loves it. He looks at each page and follows the directions. It's also a hard cover so does not get worn too quickly.

The book itself is Awesome, but buyer beware! First one I ordered had been damaged in shipping. So I requested a replacement and got one the next day. But it had splatters on it- DIRTY! I cleaned it off and kept it because it’s still a “good deal” but, Yuck!

My 8-year-old son is a huge Lego Ninjago fan and absolutely loves this product.Instead of your typical one-and-done Lego product, this book provides the parts and instructions to build several different vehicles, two at a time.
