Ecover Washing Up Liquid Refill, Lemon & Aloe Vera, Grease Cutting, 5L

I always used to use another well known brand of washing up liquid until I was on a self catering holiday where this Ecover Washing Up Liquid was supplied in the accommodation. I wasn't expecting this to be any good but have to say that this is probably the best washing up liquid that I have ever used. It's a nice thick consistency and you don't need a lot to produce a bowl full of soap suds/bubbles that never seem to fade away. Its a lovely fresh smell and doesn't leave my hands feeling rough and sore after doing the washing up. The dishes and other items all come up really clean and bright after using this liquid. Buying this 5 litre refill is the most economical way to refill the original 950ml bottle that I purchased. Just a pity that the refill bottle isn't supplied with a pump to make it easier to top up the bottle. Evidently the pump will have to be bought separately. The refill bottle arrived without any damage and I would highly recommend this washing up liquid.

My husband moans if I buy anything but Fairy, so trying a different brand is basically an extreme sport in our kitchen. Enter Ecover. It has a subtle, delicate, inoffensive smell, which is perfect because my hands sometimes flare up with eczema when I use the wrong stuff. With Ecover? No problems. Hands happy, suds happy, me happy. It’s thick, stays sudsy, and cleans just as well as Fairy, without the tiny drama. I bought it at the start of June, no dishwasher, five people constantly cooking or eating. It’s now 27th August and I’m only just running low, take that, Maureen Lipman Fairy ad at the cricket club with the massive dinner table! This would easily handle that too. Size is great, easy to decant, fine on sensitive skin, and lasts as long as the big brands. Verdict - five stars. Ecover, the washing-up hero we never knew we needed.

Nice scent and good price at the time of purchasing This stuff is just as good as the top branded stuff in my opinion, the only real difference I did notice is that it doesn’t lather up as well in colder water, but once the water was hotter is lathered up nicely and cleaned the pots, pans, plates ect ect very well. And when you work out the price of the large 5 litre container and say 5 litre’s of the top branded name-well this worked out so so much cheaper and does exactly the same job I found. I did get it on offer at the time though I must add and the offer was GOOD, But lately it’s a lot more expensive as everything seems to be though. But even so I’d still say that this would work out well cheaper than the branded name if they do it in a 5ltr container. Nice and thick to with an easy pour spout within the lid so to pour into more workable smaller bottles. Just slightly press the sides and it comes out fine, and do note I said slightly press the sides as over doing it you’ll end up with a nice mess to clear up. On whole i definitely do rate this liquid to be honest as I was very sceptical at 1st but as it was on a great offer I gave it a go and if it was naff then it would of being my new car washing stuff, but better than expected by far and was pleasantly impressed. 10/10

I have sensitive skin and eczema, so I’m always careful about the products I use especially washing up liquids, which can easily dry out or irritate my hands. I decided to try Ecover Washing Up Liquid, and I’m really impressed. It’s very gentle on my skin unlike other brands like Fairy, it doesn’t leave my hands feeling itchy, dry, or irritated after doing the dishes. In fact, it’s so gentle that I even use it as a handwash when needed! Despite being kind to skin, it still cleans dishes really well, cutting through grease effectively without needing a lot of product. I picked it up on sale, which made it an even better deal. If you have eczema or sensitive skin, I highly recommend giving this a try. It’s made a big difference for me, and I’ll definitely be buying it again.

Refill for the smaller bottles. Smells good, washes dishes effectively without residue. Nice to buy environmentally friendly product. Recommended.

A little goes a long way, very mildly scented and cleans much better than some of the supermarket alternatives.

Das Ecover Handspülmittel im 5L Nachfüllpack überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Die Reinigungsleistung ist hervorragend – selbst fettige Verschmutzungen lassen sich mühelos entfernen. Gleichzeitig ist das Spülmittel angenehm zur Haut und trocknet die Hände auch bei häufiger Nutzung nicht aus. Besonders praktisch finde ich den großen Nachfüllpack, da er Verpackungsmüll reduziert und insgesamt sehr ergiebig ist. Auch der dezente, frische Duft gefällt mir gut und wirkt nicht künstlich. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungenes Produkt, das ich definitiv wieder kaufen werde. Klare 5 Sterne!

Sapone che lava non bene, benissimo! Anche con acqua fredda, rimuovere L’unto facilmente. Scrosta padelle e teglia se messo in ammollo subito con dell’acqua, anche fredda per una mezz’oretta.

Nehme ich immer! Ist gut zu meinen Händen und spült alles blitzsauber. Es riecht sehr dezent und angenehm und die große Menge ist für mich perfekt, da ich meine kleine Flasche ja nach Bedarf immer wieder auffüllen kann. Von mir daher die volle Punktezahl!!!

Finally, a product that is perfect to clean baby's bottles, teats and toys- and doesnt break the bank! We used it to wash all the bottles, and just a little squirts goes a long way, as it's pretty bubbly and does the cleaning job well. It is a big refill (good for environment, with less plastic) and we have used it for almost 6months now and still have a lot to go.
