Highly recommend!
Finally! A cup of hot coffee! It's been years of drinking luke warm coffee or microwaving or until it tastes burnt and looks like dirt. This warmer keeps it perfectly hot and I love that I can change the temp (although I haven't yet bc I'm still amazed that my coffee is finally hot!). The cord is so long and prevents it from being pulled off a table, love the auto shut off, and it works like a charm. Definitely recommend.

Love this set! highly recommend! 💚 Very well made. Heats quick. Love the little cover.
I really love this. It's my first one after reviewing alot of them. I've had this for over a year and it works great. It's sturdy. Heats up fast. Not too big. Holds a large large cup of coffee. easy to wipe clean. The rim gets little warm to the lips if turned up on high. I don't use high when I use the metal mug. I use my own coffee cup on high so it'll stay warmer.. Easy buttons, up, down, shows temp all the time. Doesn't auto shut off. Love the little cover to keep it warm and the bugs out.

Great choice.
Exactly what I needed to extend the drinking time of my coffee. It holds it at the perfect temp, 170 for me, and has a wide temperature band. Simple controls. Works perfectly.

Excellent addition to my Earthquake Preparedness Kit with addition of Mug Cozy
The mug warmer works great. It has a simple interface, remembers your last temperature setting, and runs off 12VDC from either the included AC/DC adapter or from a 12V battery typically found in Solar Power setups and solar generators. The temperature setting is simply the temperature of the heating plate, so it has a very loose relationship with the actual temperature of the tea/coffee/re-hydrated emergency food that you may have put in the cup. Because the warmer is only 24 watts, it will take about a half hour to warm up water to a point where it's hot enough to reconstitute a freeze dried meal or to make hot cocoa. In an emergency situation where you've run out of propane for your pocket stove, this is an excellent alternative. I pair mine with the Voltaic Systems V88 that can store up the sun's rays for hours and then deliver them as needed to this warmer. The mug that's included with this mug warmer is a single layer of non-magnetic stainless steel with a rubber-like insulating ring glued on. The mug's design oozes heat, causing it to take about a half hour to warm up cool liquids. Because of the way heat transfer works with the mug, you'll need to set the temperature to about 180 degrees to keep already hot liquid at about 110 degrees at indoor 75 degree F temps. Putting a mug cozy around the mug significantly improves the rate at which the mug warmer can warm and reduces the energy needed to retain the warmth. Because the rim of the mug is stainless steel, it quickly transfers heat to your lips. So if the liquid is above 120 degrees F, the rim will be the exact same temperature and quickly burn you. The mug would need to be redesigned to provide a lower heat conductive material on the rim. A view of a tear down of the Yeti mug can provide some inspiration. It uses a variety of different materials to simultaneously keep the contents warm while reducing the burning risk. The key change would be to eliminate the gap between inner and outer layers at the bottom so that a mug warmer could warm the contents. Due to the mug's burning tendency, I suggest that you don't use this mug warmer to keep your liquids hot, but instead passably warm. For food re-hydration, the mug's design isn't so much of a problem because there's the cooling passage of time between when your fork scoops up the breakfast scramble goodness and when it enters your mouth. I highly recommend this product for emergency disaster use as a fuel-free back-up.

Get it - I do not know how I didn't find this SOONER.
I have been monkeying around with several different heat pads and just not getting the results of hotter than warm coffee. The problem is I like to drink from ceramic and glass mugs but the ceramic mugs have the hollowed out bottoms so not enough contact with the pad; flat bottom glass mugs work better but are fragile. I finally broke down and sepnt more money and got this stainless steel mug - it ROCKS. I can actually dial in the temperature on the base as well! I figured out I like it right around 155-158 temperature is just perfect. the handle stays cool so no problem, and the stainless cup is actually really easy to keep clean, generally just rinse when you are done the last drop and before any remaining coffee dries out. I've actually has to turn this off a few times now becasue it is a bit too hot...... Never have I done that with my previous 3 pads. Update 2 months later: I STILL LOVE THIS AND BOUGHT 2 MORE MUGS for when I have guests. The coffee actaully stays hot in these mugs without the warmer, for quite a while. Almost as if the heat goes into the steel, then is released back into the coffee! THESE MUGS ROCK! The steel is burnng hot but handle isn't. And the wrap is obviously helping to insulate as well. The wrap is even VERY warm, but not burning hot. Drinking coffee out of stainless? I am over it....the way the steel lips is rounded feels perfectly fine, you don't even know it is steel. THE BEST. Another update: If you are still reading....BUY THIS, it is simply awesome, life changing : ) I do not have to worry about cold coffee..yech....and probably paid for itself by not haveing to reheat with the microwave so many times!

Almost perfect.
It works well. I would love it more if it had an automatic shut off.

All around great combination mug and heater pad
I bought a couple of these types of heating devices for my dad to keep his coffee hot and tested them out before giving him this one. This one has fine grained control of the heat from the pad, and it comes with a matching mug specialized for such use. There are two important factors to think about when purchasing such a device: 1) How hot do you want that pad and as a result, your coffee; 2) Is the cup/mug you have going to transfer that heat to the contents without requiring extreme heat on the pad or destroying the cup/mug? This is the answer to both questions. The mug's large, flat and stainless steal bottom efficiently transfers the heat to where the element never has to be beyond the 160F to 180F setting. The lid traps the heat well too, so it doesn't cool faster than the element heats it. I tried using my own mugs on both devices I evaluated. Neither one could transfer the heat very well without being set at too hot of an option to where I felt it was safe. If you have to set the heating element to beyond boiling (212F), then you are going to get burned bad if accidentally touching it or resting an arm on it. Plus, the competing device only had two heat settings; smelled like burning electronics; and seemed like a fire hazard. The only draw back to the stainless steel mug is the heat will transfer up to the rim if you fill it more than two thirds of the way up. This will be too hot to put your lips on comfortably. It isn't a big issue because the mug has a large volume, so it is unnecessary to fill it beyond 2/3rds of the way. My advice: By this one. Use the mug that comes with it. Stay safe and enjoy your heated drink while you take your time sipping it down.

AWESOME PRODUCT.
A must have for those who generally have long sittings on a table. I really didn't expect that it'd improve my productivity that drastically. Really convenient and super user friendly. The quality of the material used is also best.

Came with US plug
Great purchase and does exactly what it needs my only complaint is that now i have to buy a UK supported plug because i hate using adapters everywhere! If only the design of the plug would be such that you can swap the plug head with different ones....
