Some of the bells and whistles didn't work that well.
I purchased this for my father. It had all the requirements he needed. However, the voice announcement of the time, day and date was not loud enough nor was it spoken clearly. Unfortunately there is no way to test the voice on these watches prior to purchasing. I deliberately purchased one of the higher priced options hoping that the quality would be higher and that there would be no issues. I will now need to replace this watch for my father. As it turns out, the return process for the company that shipped this watch is somewhat complicated in that it can not just be put in a box and returned. My understanding of the process is that I would have to contact the company to tell them why I wanted to return the watch. They would then issue me paperwork to return the watch. It would then be my responsibility to insure the watch as they would not be responsible for any mishaps due to the mails. All of this within 30 days of receipt of the watch. My father is very old. I do not live near him. By the time the watch was delivered to him and he wore it long enough to know it was the watch and not his hearing aids that were the problem, it was just to late to jump through all the hoops. This is not the first watch of this kind that I have purchased for him. The last one worked wonderfully for years. I will be looking for that same watch as a replacement for this one. Bottom line, I have a somewhat expensive watch for which I have no use.

Band is big
Took to jeweler and they were able to remove some links. Better to be too big than too small but since the band stretches, it seems excessively big.

Reizen Talking Atomic Watch with LED Toplight
I had to get a second, as the first was defective. However, the second one is perfect. Don't let the photo fool you, this watch is polished steel, and become a mirror on your wrist. Also, ignore the "manual set" claim in the description. The voice time cannot be changed manually. The voice is loud, clear, and easy to understand. The light is extremely helpful if you have some usable vision. Even if you don't, the button that activates the light, can also be used to mute the speech. If the band has to be adjusted, a jeweler can have this done in a few minutes. The large numbers and thick black hands are very easy to read if you have low vision. You cannot go wrong with this watch. While expensive for a talking watch, it is well worth it.

Loved it till the back broke off after 3 months
Loved it till the back broke off after 3 months. Maxi Aids wouldn't refund my money and said I should claim the warrantee but the contact person they gave me to handle the issue didn't even return my e mails. That's a lot of cash for the gamble. I was so disappointed, don't waist your money.
