This head is slightly larger than a human head so when you fight a real person at first they do seem smaller or too far away. It is good training for combat against smallish giants, but not the full blown giants from, say, Jack and the Beanstalk. Conversely if you often fight dwarves or opponents with really small heads like goblins this training aid is not recommended.

This is a great product for giving the person a real life feel of hitting a face. Problem I have is. The placement of the handle is awkward in a way that for example a person hits the jaw with a hook. It dangerously twists your wrist. I hurt my wrist while holding this for a friend who is a boxer. I really do like this product though.

I've been training in MMA for three months, but have always been a decent striker. The product is great for improving many different things from accuracy to speed and technique it is very realistic in the sense of what position an opponents head will end up in if certain punches land and makes it easier to let combinations flow. However, after constantly using it training for a fight and putting it through about a month and a half of vigorous training sessions the nose began to crack. Now whenever i use it, it gets worse. The foam like material isn't hard nor does it feel plastic, its a little tougher than an actual persons face but as soft as a 70lb punching bag but foam and even a punching bag is not indestructible. It helped me improve so many flaws however because of how easily it began to crack i feel it is overpriced. I would recommend this product but only if you come across some extra cash. It fulfilled most of it's purposes unfortunately durability wasn't one for me.Update:Although the Allstrike tore, I contacted the customer support and they shipped me a new one no questions asked free of charge and it arrived in two days!!! Their customer service makes up for the price!!! Highly recommend!!!

I DO NOT recommend this item. It is NOT "soft, yet rugged surface will not damage your hands or feet" or "great for users with or without gloves on"as described by the seller on Amazon.com.Regarding the model I received, I am certain that the clients I train in boxing and self defense will sustain injury if striking this AllStrike target with moderate or intense power and speed.I will not trust the safety of the people I train to this product that is not built to the standards the manufacturer claims.Some will disagree with my assessment of this item, which is their choice. Perhaps they will volunteer to pay the medical bills that could result to my clients if they sustain injury using this ALLStrike.No focus mitt/punch mitt, or punch shield I have ever used is as solid and unyielding as the AllStrike I received.I have trained in boxing and MMA gyms such as Mayweather Boxing Club and Wanderlei Silva's Fight Team Gym and have never come across a training tool like this that would be so risky to use.It is not much different than a store mannequin, it's just made of different material. Probably the only use I can think of for AllStrike is for pranks and Halloween.I really regret making this purchase.

This has been a great addition to our training equipment at the kung fu school. It has been especially helpful in the kids' class; it really serves to focus their aim and attention much more effectively than a plain focus mitt. It gives a more realistic experience, even though it is slightly larger than a typical head. We have found in class that the expression can be a little menacing or intimidating for some people, and at first a lot of the kids froze up when presented with it as a target. It helped them work through initial fear of a more real-looking threat and learn to keep their composure, relax and use their techniques in an effective way. It does not seem to be too firm for punching or kicking (as some reviewers have suggested), even without gloves. I would, however, suggest caution when using it as a target for kicks, because if your partner does not have good aim your arm is quite exposed.

Slightly larger than a real life head, but seems durable and everyone in my martial arts class enjoys punching the jeepers out of it! No hard core under the surface, as some of the torso/head combos have, so you can blast this full force without hurting your hand.

ミットワークができない初心者や女性でも簡単に持てると思って購入しましたが、期待はずれ。まずかなり重いです。女性だと2分くらいで腕があがらなくなります。また、アゴにフックを打った場合、持ち手の手首に大きな負荷がかかります。リストが強くない人が持てば捻挫しそうな勢いで回転します。あと意外に硬いです。鍛錬していない人が素手、素足で叩くと痛めます。ということで以外に玄人向けのミットだと思いました。普通のミットよりも強烈に相手をイメージし易いので、使い方を工夫すれば有効な道具ではあります。
