Was working with odd angles in the roof of our 1914 farmhouse. Pitch just wasn't was expected. Purchased this bip and was able to solve all my issues. Super durable blow molded plastic means this will survive most encounters. Functionality is superb and allows a noob to read it with speed and ease. This and a miter saw mean framing perfection.

I wish I would have had this when first building my patio cover as it would have saved me some heartache about finding the exact pitch on a slope. If you are building anything with a slope you need one of these to find precise slopes. Super easy to use handy when needed. Great addition to the tool box.

Well made and easy to manage the settings. I think it is pretty accurate but since I don't have another tool to compare the identified angles, I really don't know for sure. If I compare it to the angle identified on my table saw, it pretty much the same, the the granularity of the table saw scale is not that preceise. Overall, happy with product.

I am impressed with the accuracy of this level. I have a 300 dollar version that this 40 dollar one mirrors in accuracy! The magnetic base is very helpful when setting driveline angles. Would buy again if I needed another.

A very good tool with both degrees and pitch on it. If you need to find the pitch of a roof (for example, to decide what tile / vent tile is suitable, or if certain roof windows are within tolerance for your roof) then this is very good. It is possible to perform the same calculation manually - involving a ruler/measuring tape, however I felt there was more certainty using the tool and it allowed me to trial a number of scenarios. If you need to convert between degrees and pitch, it's also very handy and removes any need to consult how-tos online. Truthfully, as a DIYer, it takes a little getting used to, but it was a rapid learning process. It put my mind at ease in relation to the pitch of a roof on an old extension, and will come in handy for future projects. I'd recommend it as a purchase if you need to find pitch.
