Lynco L425 Sports Orthotic - Posted Heel with metatarsal pad, Insoles

The blue and red orthotics in the picture are not what I received. It appears that Lynco has changed the AETREX, and I don't think it feels as supportive and comfortable as the former product. I've been using this brand for years and assume the difference won't negatively impact my metatarsals, but I plan to try something else next time I need replacements.

I have flat, wide feet and I've been having some problems with pain in the ball of my foot, so I bought a new pair in hopes of alleviating the pain. I used to wear these orthotics in my sneakers all the time, but hadn't bought any in a couple of years. This pair was slimmer in width and just seemed flimsy, but I tried them anyway. The bottom of my big toe rubbed the outer edge, so I sent them back. Bring back the "old" sports orthotic, please.

These used to be GREAT but they changed them and they are pretty bad now. The metatarsal pad is half as big as it used to be and the cushioning is practically non-existent. BRING BACK THE ORIGINALS. If you do purchase these, make sure you get the older red/blue model and not the new tan colored model.

Yikes, these just hurt. I wish the ball could be a little smaller/softer/adjustable. I can't return it because I had to cut it to size but I won't be using it either.
