Castle Toy Automatic Diving Wind Up Submarine Toy

"Santa" stuck this in my son's stocking. He had asked for a remote control submarine, but any of those I found had horrible reviews saying they broke. I figured rather than paying for something that was sure to break and cause instant disappointment, I could at least get something that wasn't expected to break right away. Luckily, this submarine was an instant hit, and there were no tears over the remote controlled submarine that wasn't in its place. This thing looks pretty cool, and makes a great bathtub toy. I'm sure he'll be bringing it to the swimming pool as soon as the water warms up.

Its ok but not great. The winder gets stuck sometimes and it takes some trial and error to figure out how much water it needs to keep it upright but still buoyant. It was fun at first but now its no longer played with...

Served on a sub. Kids love it and fight over it. The trick to this thing is turning the sub while holding the knob, versus trying to turn the knob for cranking the spring to the screw. hold it underwater, let go and there you have it.

This submarine was so disappointing to my 3 yr old. Not what I expected.. It doesn't float well and when you wind the propeller it spins out so fast not allowing for sailing time. He plays with it but not in water. It's not worth it.

This is a great "old school" submarine toy but it doesn't really work. I think it's made of metal so it doesn't re-surface like it should. My son and I were pretty disappointed because it looks so cool.

love this. my son loves playing with it in the tub. kind of tricky to wind for a kid, but will go really far if wound all the way. quality toy.

It is a great bath tub submarine toy. It moves fast, goes up and down, and a single wind lasts for a lap or two.The kids love it. 2yr old and 3yr old.
