Deserves all the praise
I lost my husband's mp3 a couple of weeks ago. I was usually using it to bring some joy in my household routines, while cooking, cleaning, etc. I don't really like listening music outloud, especially, when all other people in the house have different taste in it and end up yelling at me) Using my mobile as a player is not my thing as well, I'm not happy with a quality of sound and just jump up from unexpected phone calls, interrupting the music. Interesting, that my hubby's mp3 is still somewhere in the house, as I was using my BT headphones, put the player somewhere and can't remember where. Shame, you can't call on those things! He gave me a week to find it and I... just bought him another one)))))))This player had very good reviews and seemed a value. It was in the same price range as the previous one, just around 30 quid, however, has twice as much storage capacity, 16 GB against 8GB. Honestly, I can never even use all this space, mp3 files weigh very little. So now I have an opportunity to listen to the audiobooks along with the music via player while doing all this boring household stuff. I couldn't really do that before, as my husband's player doesn't memorize the place you stopped when switching off. So if it is one hour book and I listened for 40 mins, next time it just started all over again. Soooooo annoying. No problem like this with this one. It stops and starts from the same place, no matter if it is normal or BT mode! This is a huge plus for me. One more good thing, it allows deleting files from the player without needing to connect it to computer, just on the go if you need to get rid of something from playlist right away.I'm not knowlegable in music formats at all. What I do know is that my lovely Neil Diamond collection was popping up "file can't be read" on my hubby's mp3 screen. New player plays it all!Battery is still almost full after a week of daily using. Sound quality is impressive. The player itself looks very expensive, has solid metallic body and touch buttons. sensitive enough to change the tracks even when I use it with holder on. It has a good number of other additions and features, which I haven't even tried to use just yet: alarm clock, radio, etc. However, even in my state of being in love with this toy now, there are few things I wouldn't mind changing. First of all, I prefer over the year headphones, just in ear doesn't suit me well and fall off, even with a lovely spare small silicone grommets provided. As I said, it's just a personal choice. My husband tried it and it was no problem for him at all. Good thing about these headphones, though (in addition to great quality sound) is a long cable, so you can put player in a pocket and it will not hang half way through your tummy. I also use it with my over the ear BT headphones, pairs with it with no problem. I wish it did it automatically, though. My husband's one didn't do it automatically aswell, so I guess it's just the case for these type of devices. One more thing I can't figure out is how to make it silent when you change headphones, or take them out accidentally. I kinda like that this mp3 works a little bit like a speaker, however, wouldn't mind to be able to make it silent. I'm sure I'll figure it out.One of the main incentives for buying it was actually the armband with a player holder. That's brilliant addition!!! At least I'm no way losing this one) Overall, I'm very happy at the moment. So happy, I'm going to dig all my house up and down in order to find my hubby's old mp3 I lost, so I can keep this one for myself. I already told him, sorry darling, my birthday is coming soon... in three moths))))) All I can say, this mp3 deserves all the praise.

A great Second Option To Use In The Gym
I bought this to use in the gym. I have recently joined a gym and have been using my Samsung Galaxy 9 and a pair of wireless headphones to listen to music. Twice I have walked away from the treadmill without my phone and only because the wireless headphones let me know that I was moving out of reach did I remember to go back for them I'm absolutely terrified of losing my phone and also it often tings through the headphones with notifications of emails or the kids ring me with silly questions. So from now on the phone is staying in the locker and I have this little MP3 player to play my music and give me a stress free hour in the gym.I liked this one as it also came with an armband so I don't have to worry about leaving it lying around in the gym. I put an SD Card in it and very easily downloaded music off my PC onto it. It connected to my Bluetooth headphones easily. The touch buttons are simple to use and its very easy to navigate. The sound quality is no different than I was getting on my phone and it is so user friendly. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great priced, fully featured
I bought this tiny little MP3 player to live permanently connected to the radio in my work vehicle, so I had access to a decent library of songs. It is small, surprisingly well made from aluminium, and easy to operate. The screen contains the necessary data, although it is quite low resolution, and not a very modern design. A case of function over form. Sound quality is surprisingly good through the car radio, and through my headphones. The device also has a small internal speaker, so can be used to play files without headphones, although quality isn't good, and it's not very loud. File support is fantastic- it is capable of playing a audio in many different formats - including lossless formats, which is a huge plus point, and surprising in a player at this price point. It also has support for MP4 video files. The box contains all the necessary acccessories including headphones (untested) and USB cable. For this price, if you have a need for a tiny player which supports many formats, I highly recommend this little box of tricks.

Awesome little device
This item arrived safe and well packaged.I bought this MP3 player for my brother - he saw the model my son has and wanted one as a birthday gift. This device has a bright colour LCD screen and some capacitive buttons below. The buttons are very simple to use, with all of the relevant settings/features where you would want them. This device has pretty much all you could need packed into it. Definitely more than just a music player. But as a music player is where it is best. The sound quality from the supplied headphones is great for such a tiny device. It's also got a huge amount of onboard memory (16GB) which is also expandable. We managed to upload over 20 full albums and barely made a debt in the storage capacity. It does come with a handy drawstring bag - and an armband should you wish to use it for sports/exercise. This has a great comfortable pair of ear buds with it too.The Bluetooth function is great too - I was able to send the audio into my wireless headphones. It sounded awesome!I highly recommend this product.

outdated
While the build quality, sound quality etc appears to be excellent, this mp3 player is let down by its size and software, which makes controlling it extremely fiddly and not particularly user friendly. It appears to use similar software to old nokia phones from the 90's meaning that if you wish to scroll through all your artists, you have to hold the down button for a very long time until you find what you are looking for. Also all the buttons are not intuitive at all meaning you will often find that you have pressed the wrong button. If you only listen to music on shuffle or have a small library of songs (less than 10gb) I would recommend this player otherwise I would look for something a bit more modern and user friendly.
